Work Experience
AFFINITY HEALTH PLAN, INC. – BRONX, NY 5/2012 to present
Payroll Coordinator
• Processed biweekly payroll for 800 employees using Kronos Workforce, Kronos
Teletime and ADP’s PayExpert.
• Created and used ADP Reporting to reconcile hours versus Kronos, resulting in a
reduction in payroll errors. Errors were reduced from 2 per pay period to approximately
2 per 6 month period.
• Utilized ADP Reporting to prepare management reports, including overtime, FTE, and
cost analysis. Also prepared benefit reports for 403b and other payroll deduction
funding.
• Managed garnishment process for company. Prepared payroll journal entries and
reconciled payroll related general ledger accounts.
• Assisted employees and management with payroll related issues. Worked with internal
and external auditors on a regular basis, providing backup and analysis.
• Prepared training materials for new hires and conduct regular training on payroll
procedures and time punching in Kronos. Updated Kronos timekeeper training manual
and regularly train timekeepers, both new and as refresher courses.
• Managed conversion from Kronos Workforce Timekeeper version 5.2 to version 6.3.
• Implemented streamlined procedure for reporting time to temp agencies resulting in
quicker turnaround on payment to those agencies.

Payroll Analyst
• Performs a variety of complex accounting duties in the preparation, processing, and
maintenance of payroll, salary and benefit calculations;
• Reviews timecards for days/hours worked and makes any necessary changes to ensure
that each employee is paid correctly
• Provides accrued time to Human Resources for and employee that goes out on an FMLA
leave and provides a breakdown to mangers on how to fill out those employees timecards
• Processes new hires, transfers and change to employees FLSA exemption status in
Stromberg.

software applications for data recording of payroll and weekly/monthly reports
• Run and verify the P&A and Farmington Report in Report Smith and upload it to their

• Collaborating with finance dept. for accounts payable/receivable for internal expense
accounts.
Human Resources Assistant
• Maintain and update personnel records for staff (paper and electronic),
record leave and staff changes, and maintain routine correspondence
with all departments, management, and employees for policy changes
and/or updates.
• Prepare all new contracts and employment package; follow up with
interviewers on commencement formalities such as
background/criminal checks.
• Collaborate with multi departments; organize meetings for board
members, senior staff, and CEO staff.
