improvement i.e. Operational Excellence
at both Makarpura and Waghodia Plant,
this journey is given unique identity and it
is known as Project "BRIDGE" at Steelfur.
Steelfur has appointed concept Business
Excellence to mentor them to move
forward in this journey. The journey of
"Bridge" at Steelfur is begin with
workplace management i.e. 5-S.
The company initiated 5-S
implementation at both Makarpura plant
and Waghodia Plant. Under the 3rd "S"
that is Seiso/ Shine; company celebrated
"Mega Cleaning Day" on 28th May at
Waghodia Plant and on 29th May at
Makarpura Plant. All employees including
office staff members have enthusiastically
participated in the cleaning of plant and
machinery. Out of all zones, One zone
from each Plant were awarded with the
Best 5-S Zone. 5-S Poster & Slogan
completion was also held during this
event and best 3 posters/slogans were
awarded at both the plants.
