1) Gulbrandsen Chemicals-Padra, a leading American chemicals company, celebrated its 6th annual Kaizen Mela on February 15th to showcase improvements implemented by employees. 2) Concept Business Excellence provided Lean Six Sigma training to ABB Ltd employees from various divisions to introduce them to Lean and Six Sigma terminology and tools. 3) Concept Business Excellence also provided 5S training to Steelfur Storage Systems to establish workplace management practices as the foundation for improvement initiatives.

Six Sigma Awareness
Training at ABB Ltd.
CBEPL has delivered training on Lean
Six Sigma Awareness​ at ABB Ltd.,
Vadodara, India. Participants from
various divisions like, R & D, Quality
Assurance, Operational Excellence,
Store etc. have attended the training.
The purpose was training to make
participants acquainted with the
terminology of Lean Six Sigma. During
this training, various topics like lean
management overview, tools used for
lean manufacturing, 8 types of wastes,
history of Six Sigma, realization of Six
Sigma at Motorola, DMAIC
Methodology etc. were covered.
Exercise on various techniques like
SIPOC Map, Project Charter, Detailed
Process Mapping, Brainstorming for
Cause Identification, Brainstorming for
Solution Identification etc. was
conducted by the trainer to make
participants understanding more
concrete. It was really an interactive
training session as participants were
from the different working functions.

was given by the CBEPL Team.

Level Technical Event
OpExGURU - An E-Learning Platform
has participated Footprint X8 in National
Level Technical event organized by
Faculty of Technology, M.S. University
(Maharaja Sayajirao University),
Vadodara dated 23rd, 24th & 25th
February 2018.
OpExGURU has exhibited and promoted
the e-Learning trend and its significance
over the traditional. It has highlighted
main 3 points - Flexibility of Learning,
