Sample lesson: Standard 1
Topic: “Environment”
Time: 60 minutes
Learning Standards:
● Asas membaca dengan sebutan yang betul. (BM)
● Menyebut dan memahami unsur seni dalam lagu melalui nyanyian
secara didik hibur. (BM)
● Menyatakan kuantiti melalui perbandingan. (MATEMATIK)
● Membandingkan kuantiti dua kumpulan objek. (MATEMATIK)
● Menguasai kemahiran memerhati. (SAINS)
Learning Activities:
1. Set Induction: Roleplay an environmental scene, using ABM that
were built during Art class previously. Dialogues provided.
2. Pre Lesson: Going outside and collect tin cans & plastic bags
scattered around school compound.
3. While Lesson: Working in pairs to group the rubbish up according to
type. Compare the quantity for each group.
4. Post Lesson: Singing a song about recycling. Lyrics provided.
5. Recap: Stresses the importance of preserving environment.

pengetahuan, kemahiran dan nilai yang selaras norma budaya
dan masyarakat lokal dan global.
Matlamat Kurikulum Pendekatan
Neoterik:
… untuk melahirkan insan madani yang seimbang dari segi
intelek, rohani, emosi, dan jasmani serta sosial yang menguasai
pelbagai kemahiran dalam aspek literasi, numerasi, literasi
saintifik, literasi ICT, literasi kewangan, literasi budaya,
kritis, kreatif, komunikasi, kolaborasi, inkuiri, inisiatif,
gigih, penyesuaian diri, kepimpinan dan kesedaran
sosial. Insan madani yang dilahirkan berupaya menyumbang
kepada kemakmuran dan kesejahteraan diri, keluarga,
masyarakat, negara, dan global serta bersedia menghadapi
cabaran yang mendatang.

(BM) ● Menyebut dan memahami unsur seni dalam lagu melalui nyanyian secara didik hibur. (BM) ● Menyatakan kuantiti melalui perbandingan. (MATEMATIK) ● Membandingkan kuantiti dua kumpulan objek. (MATEMATIK) ● Menguasai kemahiran memerhati. (SAINS) Learning Activities: 1. Set Induction: Roleplay an environmental scene, using ABM that were built during Art class previously. Dialogues provided. 2. Pre Lesson: Going outside and collect tin cans & plastic bags scattered around school compound. 3. While Lesson: Working in pairs to group the rubbish up according to type. Compare the quantity for each group. 4. Post Lesson: Singing a song about recycling. Lyrics provided. 5. Recap: Stresses the importance of preserving environment.
