- The study of methods and

- Usually refers to formal
education.
- Structured, based around
a sequenced curriculum.
- Learners are dependent
on instructors.
- The study of self-directed
learning.
- Propounded by Malcolm
Knowles
- A more fluid conception
of learning where learners
are responsible of their
own learning.
- Learning as per needs,
and based on experiences
- Goals-oriented.

20. CYBERGOGY?
- Trying to bridge between Pedagogy & Andragogy.
- Creating learner-centred, autonomous and collaborative virtual
learning environment.
- In Cybergogy, instructors need to understand that methods and
strategies for F2F may not work in virtual environments. The
‘culture’ is different.

- In Cybergogy, learning becomes ubiquitous. Educators need to
understand that his/her students already have access to the plethora
of knowledge via the Internet.
- Their thinking, behaviours, and emotions are deeply connected to the
‘culture(s)’ of computers, technology, and the Internet.
