2. Our ideas
We started this project by first looking at are audience and properly understanding there
wants. We aimed for a 16-24 year old age range which helped a lot as it was easy to ask about
and are own ideas will fit that age range. I made two questionaries to help consolidate are
audience and what they wanted. It either had to be a website or type of social media so we
chose both and chose are main focus to be on skating. We then each looked at existing
products such as other websites and social media platforms. The questionnaires also helped
us come to the outcome that we wanted to create an app that looks like tiktok and Instagram
but for skating only. This app will be only skaters it will be a place for people to share clips and
get reactions on top of that this app would make it so easy for big skate companies to find
new skaters with certain styles or that skate a certain way. This will make it easy for these
company's to find people to sponsor therefore making more money for the skate scene. I
think that is actually a really good idea and has some actual potential if it ever made it big. My
resoning for this is it isn’t just a good idea but its original theres nothing like it and its got the
market/ audience there already.

3. Future of skating
There are many different styles and types of skating a long with that
the huge changes and growth to the skate community at the moment is
crazy. We will be looking at the future of skating for this project and its
really up to personal opinion on how the scene will change a lot of
people want it to stay the same as a sport not well recognised not too
big of a market but it has less money in the market and the others are
looking for the next big thing how they can 1 up others and get skating
mainstream to start making a lot of money of it.

4. Who, what, where
Who
In this video I will go out and talk to actual skaters about what they see for
the future of skating being.

I will film them skating maybe newer spots or different styles. I might make it
with all no masks or covid restrictions because that will be the short future
like how it use to be as skaters have been effected so much by the covid
restrictions at the moment.
Where
It will more than likely just be local skaters if I get chance and some of are
pro mates come that would look even better as the tricks would be cleaner.

6. Contingence plan
What could go wrong while filming
• Keeping safe from boards and people that’s just an unspoken rule
with all skating as from my past of skating I know how to prevent that
• Street spots we will have to keep out the way and be safe with like
roads and pedestrians.
• There are other little things like getting to spots and safety for the
skaters I think non of these thing can be prevented but we will try.

8. Shoot 1
• 10am start get train to Harrogate
• Meet some of the skaters and film some interviews
• Go to the skatepark as fist location if its dry to film
• Go to car parks to film
• Go to other spots stair sets/ drops to film

9. Shoot plan
We are making it about the future videos to go on the website showing the progression and how each person
has progressed. This should be quite easy as we have been filming clips since we started and the progression to
current day is outstanding. This will show the progression and time dedicated to this sport. This links to future
as when we stared we always wished to get to the stage some of them are at now and shows how putting in
time and guarantees progression and skill. In production I will need to get as many clips as possible I will need
to have enough for some different sections we will include on our website. I may also be making a short
advertisement for this website as well so the more clips I get the better. I will also need to get skaters skating all
different places to give it a more real and better look. A long with the different spots I need to skate I need to
skate with all different types of skaters to get a wide range of styles and clips. I can also help this myself by
changing angles and distances to give a range as this is the main thing I aim for a wide range of different
skating. The lighting and time of day could also help say I went on some shoots while its bright and then in say
a car park and then a night session as well keeping all my videos very different. A long with the videos I will also
get photos as well so we definitely have enough to fill our website and on top have clips to make adds or other
marketing pieces.
