2. Currently I am editing my footage I recorded in
my previous weekend. I’ve added almost all of
my footage, but I still have a few things that I
need to add in there, such as my stage
performance of the drums and lead guitar. I
have asked my brother to send me across some
videos of him playing the drums and guitar, as
he is in a band and plays those instruments
very well.
Where am I at the
moment?
3. I have been searching for a while for tutorials
for the “Ghost effect” in premier pro. It just
means that the video is overlapped one other 3
or 4 times, each having a different colour base,
and set to “screen” so you can see them all. I
finally found one! I have seen it used in
multiple music videos that Heavy Metal and I
recently thought it would be a great feature in
mine.

4. I have accumulated a lot of audience feedback
about my progress, including designs for my
CD digipak and Poster, my video so far and my
animatic. The feedback was very helpful, and I
needed that extra bit of constructive criticism to
help me move forward. I have realised that if I
had an image for my digipak instead of a logo,
it makes it more personal and therefore that is
what I will be doing. The images I may use is
below, but I may ask some people what they
think.

5. My animatic is completely done, I have a great
outline for my music video that I have changed a
little, but only in way in which the camera is placed,
for the piano bridges are extended ever so slightly.
However, once I started editing my video I felt like
there were a few things that were in my animatic
that just didn’t work, whether that was because it
was too short, or the shot just wasn’t right. But, I
have stuck to the general baseline of the animatic,
mainly because I did add a lot of through into it, and
again, it is a great starting point. I guess that things
do morph and change with time, so it’s only natural
that it’s changed a little, it’s a sign of progress in my
opinion.
