corporate performance management is also one of the information technology that we are going to utilise. Enabling
our performance management are based on 3 important parts:
 our selections of goals,
 interventions made by our company’s managers in light of this information to improve our performance against
our goals,
 improving customer satisfaction and make them be aware of our products are of high quality standards.
With these well-planned management skills, we are also able to achieve various benefits that can be attributed
such as;
 eliminate assumption-based decisions,
 realign our company strategies based on our marketing sales,
 optimize the process of our company.
Information management would be able to add on more value to our company and good information management
usually falls into a few categories, for example;
 service which are effective and efficient,
 social responsibility, which falls into moral, legal and ethical,
 cost-avoidance.
Information management systems are only successful if they are all actually emplified by our company’s staff.
The active participation of staff plays huge role in the organisation. Information management are the most urgent
issue because they are derived from the overall business strategy and also, act as a direction for the company as a
whole. The most important thing about information management would be providing a strong and powerful
leadership. The main point of this is to create a clear vision of the outcomes from the information management
strategy. It tells how that the organisation will operate other than just describing on how it works. Whenever there’s
a project going on, stakeholders should be involved and engaged in the project in order to ensure that support are
given at all levels. These will benefit our company to evaluate ourselves.
Competitive Advantage
As for creating advantages to our company by using information technology, there are a lot of advantages to
it. Storing and protecting informations creates an electronic storage system to protect our company’s valuable and
important records are one of the advantages. Not only records but also includes customer’s contact infos, and also
company’s finances. It is able to store large amounts of data. Compilation of years of individual customers records,
data, transactions throughout the company and the updates in the company are all stored all over the company
system.
This is important to our company because it helps to protect all the informations stored from being hacked,
or even being wiped out during a technological disaster. Communication plays a huge role and it’s a critical thing to
have in business. With information technology (e.g emails, video conferencing), we are able to receive the
informations and resources that we need quickly and effectively , allowing our company to be 24/7 efficient to
conduct the business. It’s also known as streamlined communications and collaboration which determines the
productivity and how efficiently a team may work with each other. This is also able to minimize the potential for
mistakes done, which should ultimately improve our customer’s experience.
Embracing the information technology system allows our company to maintain a powerful competitive
advantages over our opponent. Although implementing this may be fairly high, but the long-term savings can justify
the costs and when a tech-related issue arises, experience a software malfunctions or a network that went down, our
company are basically covered. Information technology also may improve service to our customers. This may also
be more useful and relevant for the employees in the company whereas employees are able to complete tasks in the
fastest phase meaning that quite a lot of tasks can be automated and should be performed by this information
management system to achieve. Efficiency and time are golds to not only us but to our customers as well.
Information technology affects our company and market and allow us to create competitive advantages to
our company. Also, it can be a change that our company operate internally to become much more efficient and time
saving. In other words, information technology will be always expanding and will never extinct even after centuries
and is confirmed to continue to the future. The impact of information technology would be the largest and company
relies on this to almost a hundred percent. Acquiring and sustaining these might costs company in the early stages,
however, looking at our company future goal, it would be the best without a doubt.
