responsibility includes the Operational / Manufacturing activities, Planning, Purchasing
and Negotiation with vendors etc.
More than 05 years of experience in Plant Maintenance including the installation of various
types of equipment and arranging the necessary spare parts from various sources within
country or from abroad.
PRESENT DUTIES
I have joined ‘KHALED JUFFALI INDUSTRIAL COMPANY (KJIC) (www.kjgroup.com), Al-
Khobar, Saudi Arabia, around one year ago in the capacity of “EPC-Proposals Manager” and worked
around six months in that capacity.
Recently, I have completed the Shut Down of one of the SABICs Petro Chemical Plant in Jubail,
Saudia, in the capacity of “I/C Night Shift”. Scope included the maintenance of various Columns,
Reactors and Heat Exchangers etc. in the limited period of 35 days.
Earlier worked at one of KJIC’s project site in the Capacity of “SITE MANAGER” at ‘LUBEREF
YANBU REFINERY EXPANSION PROJECT’, Saudi Arabia.

Main scope of work comprises of “Steam Tracing Of Lube Oil Lines” comprises of two types of steam
tracers (Solution Annealed Tubes & Pre-Insulated Tubes) having total length of more than 182 kM of
lines.
Main responsibilities and duties are to look after the project requirements in close co-ordination with
Client and KJIC Construction team and timely managing / arranging all the project related
requirements for smooth running of all construction related activities.
Earlier worked for more than 09 years, in the leading EPC company of
Pakistan, DESCON Engineering Ltd ( www.descon.com ) on different
challenging positions in the field of Proposals, Construction, Engineering /
Field Engineering & Procurement Management.
Before joining DESCON, I have worked in the field of Mechanical Maintenance, as Maintenance
Manager / Engineer in 02 different process plants within Pakistan as well as abroad, where I acquired
extensive knowledge of maintenance of different rotary and stationary equipment as well as learnt
latest maintenance practices and techniques.
In my early career, I have also worked in the field of manufacturing, where I have worked on different
positions in the areas of manufacturing and planning.

Pakistan but also for Middle East region, in the capacity of ‘Proposals Manager / Engineer’.
After winning the Proposals, I have been deputed on Construction Sites in various capacities, whose

• Urea Debottlenecking Project @Fertil-1, UAE
As a Proposal Engineer, handled ‘Mechanical’ part of the CO2 area of the Urea Plant Debottlenecking
project. Responsibilities included study of ITB documents and preparation of RFQs for Equipment,
Piping and Piping Bulks along with the review of quotes and handled vendors’ queries for specific
area.
Won the proposal, worth US $ 170 Million.
- PROJECT ENGINEER @ FERTIL – 1 ( Jan. 2007 – Feb. 2008 )
After winning the Project, I was assigned on the project site in the capacity of Project
Engineer. Main role was to assist the Construction Manager in CO2 recovery area
construction activities.
After one year, I was assigned back to Proposals in the Head Office.
• CO2 Recovery Plant @ Engro Fertilizer, Pakistan
As a Proposal Manager, prepared complete EPC proposal for ‘CO2 recovery plant’ for Engro Urea
Fertilizer plant.
Won the job worth US $ 20 Million.

( Nov.2008 – March 2010 )
Deputed on Project site in the capacity of Deputy Construction Manager and responsibilities
included to look after the day to day construction related activities on the Brown Field plant,
managing MP on site, Procuring the required material and equipment for smooth operations
of construction activities.

As a Proposals Manager prepared “Techno-Commercial” proposal for a Jetty Sub-station.
Won the job worth US $ 10 Millions

project in 32 days earlier than the target time of 12months.

Scope of Project
One of the Most Challenging job for me is to work as Engineering Manager for the mentioned project.
Scope of work comprises of residual engineering, procurement, construction, installation & erection of
equipment in two wellhead areas in the Bab region. Scope also comprises of installation of 10kM , 04
inch diameter underground pipe line for the supply of gas in well head areas.
Duties & Responsibilities
 Plan, manages and oversees the daily functions of engineering,
 Manage and coordination of the work plans with the assign division, meeting with staff to identify
and resolve problems,
 Coordination with discipline engineers on technical issues and engineering matters related to the

 Monitor work flow as per plan, review and evaluate the work, method and procedures,
