Our target audience:
The documentary is based mainly on the younger generation aged from around 11-19, therefore still in
education, wither in secondary school or college. We feel the target audience will be mainly teenagers also
in this age range because they will be able to relate to the documentary. The common interests vary
depending on the individual themselves therefore this mood board involves a variety of popular interests for
both males and females of this particular generation.
For males some of the interests involve PS4, football and unhealthy energy drinks. For females we have
makeup, bags (shopping) and books. The rest included are unisex so social media, mobile phones, fast food,
music, relationships etc.. are all interests shared between both genders. Some of these interests such as the
social media and makeup (looking good aspect) are portrayed in our documentary.
The smoking and alcohol represents the rebellious ide of our target audience as its very common for
underage drinking and smoking within this generation of teenagers so It is important to onclude this, along
with the books which contrast to show the intellectual/ study side of the target audience.
Our target audience would be from working class families and would come from local areas such as solihull,
Sheldon, Yardley etc.. many would have jobs themselves as they would want to be more independent and
have money to spend on some of the hobbies on the mood board.

Our target audience would be from working class families and would come from local areas such as solihull, Sheldon, Yardley etc.. many would have jobs themselves as they would want to be more independent and have money to spend on some of the hobbies on the mood board.
