S- Objectives
a. My class WILL make a podcast explaining facts they obtain about the history of
the Spanish language, make their own Picasso image, and take an assessment quiz
by the end of the day with 85% accuracy.
S- Select Methods, Media, and Materials
a. Use internet explorer to obtain factual information about Picasso, Spanish
Language History, and any other information they find relevant to their
knowledge.
b. Make a Podcast about the history and facts
c. Use Photoshop to make their own Picasso
d. Take an assessment quiz
U- Utilize Media and Materials
2. a. Never ASSUME a student knows any certain information, unless they have been
prepared ahead of time. In the time frame allotted, it would be best to give a
brief overview of expected knowledge the students are to obtain about the
Spanish Language/Culture.
b. Go over each type of software they are to use so that any and all confusion can
be resolved.
R- As a class take a survey of any factual information that they gathered using the provided
information, and clear up any further confusion that may still exist within the class. If there
is further confusion among the students, if time permits, allow them to do more research, if
not then continue with further discussion with the students.
E-After knowing where the students are struggling, as the instructor, I could allow the ending
quiz/assessment to be a collaboration quiz (as a class).
a. Evaluate what aspects of the assignments the students did well on, then adapt them to
meet any struggling student to ensure that the students all feel confident using the media
and materials.
