Detailed summary of why and how I chose to do my Unit Plan on the Spanish language

1. The Spanish Language

Abstract
In this Unit Plan, I chose to create assignments based on knowledge of the Spanish
language. Spanish sentences (greetings) are constructed a little different than that in the English
language and for students who use English as a primary language often struggle with speaking
Spanish and the way I have integrated them into the plan will allow a struggling student the
chance to hopefully overcome the struggles. When I thought about how to use each source of
technology I thought about myself as a high school student learning a second language. I
struggled very much so. While thinking about how I struggled, I thought about my own learning
style and played off of that. If I had had the knowledge about how to incorporate blogs, poster,
and other informative materials, I may have not struggled so much. I hope that by making
assignments using the different types of technology that was provided that students can learn and
have an easier time understanding how the technology can enhance learning, not hinder it.
