Emily St. John Mandel s novel Station Eleven, we see what the impact of hope can do even in a
post apocalyptic world, and how this leads characters to certain decisions. The characters Clark,
Kirsten, and Jeevan survive and make decisions which are driven by hope. Having hope influences
