dielectric substrate and a microstrip having
thickness is in micrometer and height in milímetro

Practical Microstrip Lines has the following Properties,
 Height is of milímetro
 Have width-to-height ratio (u=w/h)
0.1<u<10
 Propagating in Z-direction
 Fringing Effect can not ignored because The
electromagnetic waves are not purely TEM in
nature but quais-TEM
