FICON Express 16G channel adapter present on System z machine. STV is a
specialized Firmware (FW) load into a channel adapter that provides the function of
a FCP Target (Fibre channel SCSI Storage Control Unit). STV emulates IBM shark
disk storage.
This document is intended at describing the design and implementation of STV
Emulation support on Power Servers/Blades. The scope of this document is mainly
limited to STV component in STV Type FC channel firmware. This document
contains information collected from other documents and design discussions. STV
Emulation support on Power Servers/Blades enables qualification/test floor teams to
use the STV Type channel firmware to test SCSIstream protocol capable devices not
just on system z but other servers such as zBX and zFX as well. Problem Statement
The Current STV based storage emulator requires a FICON express I/O Hardware
and system z for emulation. This is useful for testing in a System z environment but
proves uneconomical in regular zBX or zFX qualification. Moreover since STV uses
the resources within the FICON express module, which are limited. Emulation of
Enhanced features such as multipath or increased LUNs is not possible. This limits
the test coverage of the test team. This project tries to work around some or most of

electrocoagulation is one of the promising methods that can be used for arsenic
treatment. In this study, we compare chemical coagulation with electrocoagulation
and try to show the advantages of electrocoagulation over chemical coagulation.
Three experimental studies have been reviewed and based on the results of these
studies it has been concluded that by determining optimum parameters such as
electrolysis time, initial arsenic concentration, current density, electrode surface area,
and pHvalue, electrocoagulation can be an effective treatment method for arsenic
removal from groundwater due to its low cost, eco friendly and low maintenance.

bombastic in the entertainment zeitgeist. Yet with director Brad Furman s (The
Lincoln Lawyer), The Infiltrator, the infamous Columbian drug load plays only
second to agent Robert Mazur (played wonderfully by Bryan Cranston), the man
who brings down the world s largest cartel. It s a refreshing angle on the subject
matter with stellar performances (most notably John Leguizamo s radically different
and award worthy role) to match. Yet, one of the biggest highlights of the filmis that
of film composer Chris Hajian s (First Position, Yonkers Joe, The Take) score. Hajian
manages to keep the film s music subtle, but with gravitas to capture the heaviness
of the situation at bay. It plays to the trend of synth percussion, a popular sensation
seen everywhere from Cliff Martinez s score in Drive to Kyle Dixon and Michael
Stein of Stranger Things. Sure it plays to the trend, but doesn t get lost in it. Hijian
has the ear to work with modern sound, but keeps disciplined by incorporating

The use of characterisation in a text can be used to represent complex ideas. Cormac
McCarthy s 2006 novel, The Road, follows the journey of a man and son that face
several events that challenge their humanity in order to survive the post apocalyptic
America. By studying the characterisation of the father and son in The Road, it is
revealed that complex ideas are represented. Readers may find that the existentialist
ideas of death and violence being unavoidable, love able to be shown through actions,
every decision having both rewards and repercussions and when humans are put in
extreme or difficult situations, core values and beliefs may be abandoned, are
promoted through the actions and thoughts of the characters. These ideas are
developed especially through the four main events in the novel through the use of
dark imagery and descriptive language.
Death and violence are unavoidable and we must find purpose in life with the
