Implementing New Technologies And Innovative Ideas
Businesses of various size and scale are leveraging new technologies and innovative ideas in their
operations to gain competitive advantage, add value and remain viable in the 21st Century.
Integrating new ideas and creating change to existing business models involves careful planning
with temporary projects formed to initiate the changes. While corporate leaders and entrepreneurs
focus on the directives of the business, the tasks of overseeing the planning of these temporary
projects from inception to completion is given to designated project managers. Components of
projects are: (a) they have an objective; (b) have a beginning and end; (c) involve multiple
departments and professionals; (d) have never been done before; (e) account for time, cost and
performance. (Gray & Larson, 2014). The purpose of this paper is to introduce this writer's project
proposal that will bridge the business's existing reporting tool to enable multiple users and
departments across different business functions to access the same reports. From this point on, the
project will be referred as Project Bridge. Project Bridge consists of a system enhancement that
integrates business functions in a reporting tool that will allow faster reporting, provide more
efficiency, and have capability to report sales volume by location. This writer will enact the role of
Project Manager for Delectable Desserts, a mid–size business that specializes in manufacturing
dessert products for restaurants. In this

Is Google Really Making Us Stupid? Essay
In a lecture hall, a professor stands in front of a classroom full of students as he waits for an answer
to his question. A student raises his hand and answers "no," but he is unable to explain his
conclusion. In Deborah Tannen's article "The Roots of Debate in Education and the Hope of
Dialogue," she talks about how we should not just focus on stating that other people's points are
wrong and that the only way to seem original or creative is to prove other people's points are wrong.
This topic is highly important for students who are just entering college where they will encounter
open discussions and the test of their ability to think outside of the box to prove an answer. Tannen's
ideas about the topic of debate may be quite beneficial ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In Twenge's article, she builds upon individualism, self–esteem and narcissism while Tannen's
article discusses the insecurity and difficulty among females when expressing opinions against men.
Through Tannen's article, students can learn the importance of debate in discussion and defending
opinions, which will broaden their scope on a particular topic. Incoming UCONN students can
benefit from Tannen's article where they can be introduced to the concept that there is a need to
develop a meaningful context into which subsequent ideas and skills can be assimilated in the
involvement of debate. "The Roots of Debate in Education and the Hope of Dialogue" presents a
whole new way of thinking that could be helpful for a new UCONN student. It focuses on how
negative approaches to debate is not the way to go. Quickly Tannen discusses how at the beginning
of our early life, we are all taught, sometimes inadvertently, that we should not have to bring down
other people's ideas to bring up our own. Following this, she teaches a tactic to regulate our
approach on how we think about things or how we feel about things and in the end it is about how
we perceive the world. We need to be taught how to think and transform our ideas into a weapon
when we go into a discussion. One flaw in the argument culture is that it has a tendency for
individuals to approach an issue with a debate–mentality that leads to criticism and attacks on the

The Idea Of Evolution In A Brave New World
The definition of evolution is a change in the heritable characteristics of biological populations over
successive generations. This is true all around us with developments in many species of animals and
plants as humans shape a new world, but with a topic so broad can one sentence truly define what
happens next in multiple different species. If you dissect this it specifies a heritable change in a
biological population, but what if the next step in life is not technically alive?
Over the years we have grown from microscopic organisms to a species with superior mental
development, articulated speech and have even managed to spread ourselves across Earth. We have
done what was previously thought impossible by being able to edit our own genetics and even
program robots to do simple everyday tasks for us. The real question is what is our next step, every
step of evolution so far from australopithecus to our current form of humans we have advanced and
grown to become a smarter version of our previous selves and in doing so eliminated multiple
competing species. To advance from our current beings we most likely have three options. Those
options include changing our own DNA enough( both overall population and in the amount of
change) that we are turned into a new species or we could be replaced/ overthrown by a new
generation of artificial intelligence that is smarter than us. The last option is mass extinction by
either a worldwide natural disaster or the process of exhausting

Essay on The New Idea of Modernism
In the time after World War One a new way of thinking became prominent. This new idea is what
we call Modernism. After the war it was realized that many people had suffered absolute horrors,
ones that they never could have imagined, or ever forget. The violence and pain witnessed by so
many left them psychologically shell–shocked, and filled with disillusionment. These psychological
effects would soon alter the world for years to come, and lead many to a loss in faith and
questioning of everything they once believed true. Many of the social normalities these people had
before they left for war, were abandoned. People exchanged their proper ways for more relaxed
ideals. In this new society people were more able to express themselves, how ... Show more content

They were. The fact that women were now questioning the rules they once lived, only shows that
people were finally shifting away from the past and into a new era of thinking. Women were not the
only ones to questioning society during this time, both men and women had seen the use of chemical
weapons, brutal battles, and an enormous waste of human life, people had "rushed like lions to the
roaring slaughter "(e.e cummings, line 10 ) making it difficult to believe in a divine being or
anything else, because who would let something that terrible happen? Due to this new lack in faith
people came to question the moral code by which society ran. They became more concerned about
their own moral code, rather than trying to fulfill societies expectations, since it seemed to only let
them down. This is shown quiet well when Jake Barnes reflects on his own moral code in The Sun
Also Rises, saying "That [is] morality; things that made you disgusted afterward. No, that must be
immortality" (Hemingway 152). Jake like a great number of people after the war were clearly more
interested in their own concerns than those of anyone else. People after the war were very selfish,
they were tired of adhering to societies expectations and never seeing any results. The no longer
believed in holding themselves back because of how society would view them.

Diversity Can Create New Ideas
Diversity, in general, is important because it provides our society and culture with varying,
inimitable and stimulating perspectives. There seems to have a tendency to create groups and
various social strata and you find it everywhere around the world in various degree. Diversity goes
beyond recognizing that we are different in measurable ways. Diversity can create new ideas and
changes that can be beneficial to a society, or even the world. On a global scale, diversity is
fundamental to the development of new ideas, innovation and is a critical component of being
prosperous on an overall level. "Just as one shoe does not fit all people, one personality profile does
not fit all job situations" (Kinicki, 2015, p. 15). Therefore, in order

The Importance Of Education In America
The education system in the United States is one that has changed throughout time, and one that has
drastically changed in the relatively recent years of the country. While the US was once a country
that educated its students based on obtaining knowledge meant to help the individual succeed in
daily life, the system is believed to have changed due to many of its students wishing to become
accustomed to life in factories. This factory and manufacturing lifestyle was one with long,
strenuous work days, with little time for breaks or communication between its workers. With this
change came a change in the education, leading to long, strenuous work hours, and with an
emphasis on standardized tests. This has thus changed the system from a curriculum that was once
arts, music, and literature focused into one that focuses solely on mathematics and sciences.
Through Scott L. Newstok's article "How to Think Like Shakespeare," Newstok analyzes how this
change has led to the elimination of the contentment and even the imagination aspects of education.
Without embracing the possible variations in education of students, this leads to the potential decline
in advancements of the United States as a society. Throughout his text, Newstok proposes multiple
ideas regarding how the change in the education system has led to the decline of the overall function
of society. Newstok notes that thought should not be restrained exclusively to what is learned during
classes, but instead should

never change is the changing itself." And this quote is correct for most people because we know that
the world is rounding and two evenings are never same. In this rounding world, new ideas come out
everyday: some of them are dying but some of them changes the world. Most of inventions that we
use in our daily life is based on 20th century. Of course in our time technology and science is far
more developed however, to develop something you should invent it and that happened on 20th

'certain areas in knowledge that humans should not "explore or cross". Throughout history there has
been over–reaching of all types; examples of past and present societal over–reaching has been;
Amelia Earhart attempting to circle the globe in a plane consequently ending with her disappearance
over the Bermuda Triangle, the new idea of Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis allowing technology

The first frame is the letters of Robert Walton to his sister, Margaret Seville, in these letters the
reader discovers that Walton is in pursuit of glory and knowledge that no one knows. During his
conquest, Walton finds himself stuck in the ice of the North Pole, he desires to continue his
conquest, but slowly he's destroying his crew's lives and losing their loyalty to him. The middle
frame of the novel exhibits that Victor Frankenstein's over–reaching causes the seclusion of his
friends and family, which starts after the commencement of his creature. When Victor's seclusion
begins, his focus has mostly turned to natural philosophy. Frankenstein spent much time in this state,
not once going home, but solely focusing all his attentions on the natural philosophy of physiology.

DISCUSSION
Method used by executives to encourage the role of innovation in a workplace
Any good manager will recognize the need to innovate and grows the business skills to increase
their creativity. Encouraging the utilization of innovation in a place of work, is crucial to attempt
and concede new things seeing that it facilitate the organisation for further opportunities in relation
with the businesses. "What works for whom under what circumstances?" Putting these words into
unpretentious, this question and the influence of "what works" section of the question essentially
demonstrates effectiveness of the apparatus, procedure, performance, processes, and methods of
innovation. Associates and individuals who manage and lead organizations generally concentrate on
and pay more attention on "what works." Therefore several of these efforts have created
dissatisfaction results because the methods to facilitate were applied with very modest or no
consideration for the individuals involved, associating "for whom" or the detailed of irreplaceable
conditions or perspective, stating "under what circumstances." For this reason when manager or
leaders in organisations are encouraging the concept of innovation, have to express "what" that's

A New Idea For The Proposal Of Race
A New Idea for the Proposal of Race to the Students of UC Merced
Leo Alonso Cabrera
Professor Danielson
Writing 010–31
UC Merced
Introduction o Introduce the theme of your essay, which revolves around the concepts of race and
how college students choose to break social norms
 College students are typically introduced to new, and often time radical ideas, that are very
different from the ones that they are shown in home.
 Personal Anecdote: Before coming to school here in UCM, my dad would often talk to me in
many different occasions throughout my life about the concept of race and what it represents: o
Honor o Family o Education o Class
Many times he would emphasize to me that people of other races do not have the ability to value the
same things as a Hispanic would, and would many times reference the family of my Ex–Girlfriend,
whose family is Native American and would often use stereotypes, such as "Indian Alcoholism" to
show me how their priorities are different than mine. She is not going to a UC, and thus he makes
that point of comparison on education to show how successful I am because of my Hispanic values
can surpass the concerns of an alcoholic Native American family.
Now propose the question o What is Race?
 It is a concept that is created by Man to essentially control Man0 (The use of the law, Hudgins v.
Wright, p. 965).
 According to Lopez, "Race [to me] is defined as a vast group of people loosely bound together by

Innovation And The Successful Investment Of New Ideas
Innovation is main factor for the progress of any organization. When using the innovation in the
right way that gives the organization competitive among other companies.
Business innovation is all about the successful investment of new ideas. Innovation plays a key role
in the success of many local and international companies. The aim of Innovation is increased
businesses, which generate profits (Use innovation to start or grow your business introducation,
n.d.). There is an important difference between invention and innovation. Invention is created new
idea whereas Innovation apply correctly for ideas and exploitation of an idea (The business case for
innovation, n.d.). This essay will describe how innovation can encourage businesses.
Innovation means "The process of translating an idea or invention into a good or service that creates
value or for which customers will pay" (business dictionary, n.d.). Whereas innovation in business
means involve new ideas for improving your existing services or creating new product. Moreover,
Innovation helps to keep up with modern life and grow in the marketplace (Australian government,
n.d.).
Business owners have several sources, which help them to create new ideas. Suppliers, business
partners and business network contacts can all make useful contributions to inventive process
methods. In addition, encourage staff with awards for creative ideas helps in generating creative
ideas within the organization (ni business info, n.d.).

New Ideas Of The Enlightenment
During the early 18th century new ideas began to arise across Europe. For instance the idea of the
Enlightenment, which lead to new intellectual ideas, logical/factual mindsets that weren't seen as
much before and religious tolerance. Before this , close to everything was biblical based. However
to an extent the new ideas of the Enlightenment and religious tolerance displayed the religious
influence and corruption of Europe during the 18th century. "Hark ye friend" said the Orator, "Do
you think the Pope is the antichrist?" "Truly i've heard nothing about it " said Candide; "but whether
he is or not i want something to eat." "Thous desvest nothing to eat "(Voltaire, 18) This quote well

a conversation between Candide and the guy from El Dorado when Candide asks " You have no
monks among you to dispute,to govern,to intrigue, and to burn people who are not the same opinion

Renaissance : A New Way Of Gathering Ideas
Renaissance means a rebirth and a new way of gathering ideas, which changed the life of many
individuals. In European civilization, Renaissance was the period following the medieval period.
Renaissance was basically a rebuilding phase after a long period of cultural degeneration and
stagnation. People had lost their faith in church and were more focused on each other. In the15
centaury many great things were happening throughout England and other part of Europe. It was
beginning of an era where people discovered new ways of learning and thinking by looking back at
the ancient Greek and Rome for their inspiration. It was the era of artists, scientist, philosopher, and

In the Renaissance era, there was an increase in new educated middle class, who demanded books in
their language instead of Latin. In Renaissance books are affordable by middle class. As a humanist
in Western Europe I understood this as an opportunity to spread the awareness. As a scholar in 15ht
century, I would have not known or even think about the problems at the time. Knowing the
information now I would like to use a printing press as a newspaper to create awareness about some
of the problems people in the Renaissance were dealing with. Throughout this paper I will be
discussing three major topics that were important in Western Europe at the beginning of the
Renaissance to increase awareness. First gender, which was a method regarding the domination of
women. Second social and economic difference between poor and wealthy. Finally spice trade,
which made a big impact in the Renaissance. In the 15th century the Renaissance has changed a lot
in Western Europe and part of England. Women had lost more power from their economic freedom
due more men were getting educated and they were going out to work to make more money. Slowly
women stared becoming housewives who stayed home and did unpaid work. Women were mostly
uneducated because a lot of people thought that it was unnecessary, rather they were taught how to
do housework so once they get married they could be housewives. In 15th centaury Europe women's
pride and self worth depended

New Ideas from the Past
New Ideas from the Past Transcendentalism describes a school of thought which teaches that each
person possesses a different set of beliefs that will ultimately lead the person to find an individual
view of truth. It teaches that everyone comes into this world morally sound, and society eventually
becomes responsible for each of their downfalls, because society tries to force its own outlook about
what truth is and how to find truth onto the individual. Problems which plague an individual can be
traced back to parallel the larger problems of the evil society at large. This not only includes the
pressures seen through laws and government, but spans over all influences of the human mind, for
example, religion and philosophy. In Ralph Waldo Emerson's Historic Notes of Life and Letters in
New England, he wrote about a specific era in history that teemed with people who started to
believe these ideals three hundred years before he was writing. He asserts that that this
individualistic, self reliant way of thinking was not new, and should not be limited to influence only
one area of human life, but all aspects of society. While the official Transcendental movement took
place in the 1830s, Emerson argued that main ideas from the movement had been causing conflict
for centuries. He claimed when new ideas like these come to the surface, it can be hard to identify
directly where tension with old ideas is coming from at first, but the effects of the conflict are
widespread: "At

Why Do Puritans Accept New Ideas?

What Are New Ideas Threaten Society
New Ideas Threaten Society The heart of the Enlightenment lied at the heart of Paris, France.
Intellectuals gathered throughout Europe to debate and justify new and old ideas. Gatherings were
held to host discussion as reformed concepts spread across Europe though passionate writers and
scholars. Traditional beliefs, customs, and conventions were examined during the Enlightenment by
these people and the citizens that come to read their papers. Controversy brewed as power–holders
and religion met with the power of reason, but these ideas spread through Europe in a variety of
methods. For one, the introduction of Denis Diderot's Encyclopedia, Encyclopédie, sparked
curiosity among intellectual readers. With its ample amount of general knowledge in science, the

IDENTIFYING VENTURE OPPORTUNITIES
I never perfected an invention that I did not think about in terms of the service it might give others...
I find out what the world needs, then I proceed to invent.
–Thomas Edison
INTRODUCTION
One of the biggest questions on every hopeful entrepreneur's mind is, ―how do I come up with a
compelling idea for a new venture?‖ While there is no right or wrong answer to this question, there
are several things to be aware of and thinking about as one heads down the entrepreneurial path.
Even if a great idea has already come to mind, it is essential to cover the basics – the market,
product/service offering, competitive, economic, and team dynamics to determine if the ... Show

Howard Schultz's inspiration for Starbucks came to him when he was on vacation in Italy and
admired the ―café culture‖ there that had not yet taken root in the US.
Another valuable exercise is to reflect on experiences (particularly frustrating ones) as a retail or
industrial consumer. Entrepreneurial ideas can be the result of simply being an irritated consumer
looking for a better solution, where ―in solving their own needs, they often find they satisfy the
latent demands of a broader group of users.‖3 Recall the origins of Nike – Phil Knight and his track
coach Bill Bowerman were dissatisfied with the footwear available for longdistance runners, so they
started their own footwear company using Bowerman's waffle maker to produce the rubber soles.
Never underestimate the importance and relevance of contextual knowledge. Many successful
entrepreneurs have found their ideas by reading different newspapers and economic and technical
publications in order to keep abreast of trends and events taking place around the world. One
incredible advantage that students have is the access to resources available at colleges and
universities. Investigate what kinds of projects and experiments are going on in university research

The Importance Of Technology In The Private Eye
The Private Eye (by Brian K. Vaughan, Marcos Martins with Muntsa Vicente), a sci–fi graphic
novel, explores society's views on technology by defying what the reader may expect by portraying
a society that strongly opposes and fears current world attitudes towards technology. Privacy in this
world is seen as so exceedingly important that society in it has completely rejected the internet.
They still advance technologically, but in a different direction than in the real world, and use various
kinds of masks and other appearance altering technologies for the sake of privacy. They gravitate
towards these types of technology because of familiarity, and deny anything that could potentially
compromise their privacy, like the internet. Essentially, it's a moral thing, but to the degree that
threatening privacy would be like threatening their freedom. Privacy is part of what being a human
is to these people. It's a natural thing that everyone should have to them. This is where The Private
Eye and real life are most alike in that one's idea of what it is to be human determines willingness to
accept new technologies. Familiarity is what causes this idea of what human is when it comes to
accepting new technology or ideas.
In real life, people generally enjoy the ideas of sci–fi–esque technologies in theory. The reason many
inventions in science fiction don't actually exist is because they go beyond what people consider
human, at least the doable ones. Sure, technology is intended to

Business Operations And New Ideas
The company's managers are frequently busy with business operations and new ideas. Apparently,
IT structures was never appropriated with organizational vision and IT was in an important state of
disorganization.
IT doesn't have reliability in the lines of business. This is a known deficiency and sooner or later
will be addressed in the reconversion of IT.
Business operations are not understood by IT employee. Business unit managers were making IT
decisions based on their current knowledge and needs. The connections of the processes are

Well–organized structure provides business employees with opportunities and how to improve their
skills. First of all, the multidivisional operation needs to provide overall operations appropriate in a
SOA structure. Because, there is no guarantee that SOA will fit to company's existing package. The
managers, especially CIO is in the best position to involve and communicate with employees. The
CIO must hire senior management who can communicate with IT employees and educate them. IT
organizational structures must be centralized, understandable and moderate.
Outline a project selection process for AgCredit to ensure alignment with the enterprise business
vision.
Organizations should be careful and select the projects they decide to continue from between many
opportunities. Apparently, there is no simple decision. The consequences of poor process and
decision could be expensive and irrecoverable. A number of useful projects are existing to managers
liable for measuring possible business needs. AgCredit's CIO must know that his job is getting
harder and must also connect with people at all levels of the organization. New enterprise ideas must
be delivered quickly and directly connected to measures of business development. All of these
developments provide an idea of how the business people and business process work each other and
provide more understandable process which would make business process more vigorous and

Representations Of Discovery In Robert Frost's 'Tuft Of...
It takes a monumental experience to recognise discovery and to that extent the composer's
manipulate their ideas on discovery and represent them in a way that is memorable. Robert Frost's
"Tuft of flowers", "Mending wall" and Jean–Marc Vallée's "Wild" have intertwining ideas of Nature
and Relationships that leads to emotional and intellectual discoveries. In this speech I will present to
you my understanding of how "Representations of discovery are made memorable through the
composer's ways of communicating".
In Robert Frost's "Tuft of flowers", the connection of man and nature leads the composer to make an
emotional discovery. Frosts unorthodox rhyming style of having 5 iambs in each line makes the
poem unique and its quest to realising discovery unique. With that in mind by choosing an unusual
form, Frost makes the idea apparent to me in a way that is memorable. Also Frost contrasts the
flower with the cut grass shows that he has encased a connection between them and himself as he
recognises the beauty of the flower in "...and led my eye to look/At a tall tuft of flowers beside a
brook" this new understanding lead him on the path of finding the emotional discovery. Through this
poem, Frost showed me that discoveries can lead to refinding yourself and finding new perceptions
and by demonstrating this idea he has further my understanding of discovery through the notion of
making it memorable.
In the notion of discovery, a connection with nature leads to an unparalleled growth in one self as
shown by Jean–Marc Vallée's "Wild'. Like Frost's "Tuft of flowers", "Wild" shows the connection to
nature is essential to the path of discovery. Vallée uses naturalistic lightning on the face of his
character to shows the emotions, and expressions the character has on the various of landscape from
the desert to the snow. The uses of the lighting highlights the changes of the characters emotion
throughout her journey across the land and thus illustrates her new found discovery of her emotions.
In some sense, both "Tuft of flowers" and "Wild", makes their ideas memorable by using different
techniques to elevate their characters, by doing so the concept of discovery becomes more apparent
to me.
In Robert Frost's "Mending

Abortion Is Not A New Idea
According to Merriam–Webster's Dictionary abortion is, " the termination of a pregnancy after,
accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus." Abortion is
not a new idea, that is only understood in America. It is a procedure that has taken place worldwide
for centuries. There is much debate over this topic because everyone has their own opinion of the
idea. Some believe it should be banned forever and in all circumstances and others believe that
abortion should be allowed and socially acceptable. Abortion in the United States of America has
especially been a hot topic issue. Whether it has been deciding if it should be legal or not, defining
what it is, if it should be tolerated and countless ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This also means that only the people that in all reality, could afford the child they are attempting to
abort, could pay for a doctor proficient enough to do the procedure safely. Before abortions were
legalized, in the 1920's and 1930's, groups of people trying to make birth control more accessible to
women, which was highly opposed by the Roman Catholic church (Garrow 835). This shows that
people only see the value of a woman by what she creates and carries in her body, because if people
do not want birth control to be accessible to women, they only want them around to carry children.
Years went by without much luck on the goal of legalizing abortion, for the safety of the mothers or
the mothers well–being in general. Until Roe v. Wade. It is a common misconception that Roe v.
Wade was the only court case revolving around abortion occurring at this time, but realistically,
there were dozens. With that being said, it is without a doubt that it was not a fluke. It was not by
chance that the passing of this court case was a one time scenario. If Roe v. Wade had not occurred,
there would have been any of the other cases similar to Roe v. Wade that would have taken its place
in the Supreme court in 1973, when the case was officially votes on and passed, which allowed
women to have an abortion and be in relative privacy if she chose to do so (Garrow 836). This is a
revolutionary court case in American history

Idea Generation
1. What techniques will you propose to CB to generate ideas that can be developed into viable
concepts?
Three types of concept generation techniques that would be ideal for CB in generating viable ideas
include:
CB could consider evolutionary ideas generated from somewhere else; they could take existing
product ideas and improve on them. Alternatively, CB could considers using the symbiotic idea
generation techniques; symbiotic idea generation technique is a method where multiple ideas are
considered, brainstormed on, and combined using a myriad of elements from each so as to generate
a whole idea(Goffin, Lemke, & Koners, 2010). CB can also consider using computer–assisted
discovery; this will help widen numerical and research possibilities. In fact, given the fact that the
business that CB is involved in is more customer–oriented, I would recommend as it is in the
process of idea generation, it must endeavor to ensure that they customer appreciated and embrace
them. They can perform an in–house research to identify products that currently exist in the market,
their flavor components, as well as their health effects–this in–house research can be broadened and
widened by using the computer–assisted discovery(Goffin et al., 2010). The health effects and flavor
components of other products, CB can use the symbiotic idea generation technique to

This proposal and concern though is not something only New Jersey students and educators are
facing. Across the state education boards are contemplating the same decision and echo many of the
same concerns. The top on everyones list is budget. This is an exuberant cost, that many states like
new Jersey cannot afford. Several of the articles discussed the aspect of cost, from electricity, to
janitorial services, to adding additional meals and meals cost, along with salary and supplies. Cost
are estimated to be "$1,200 per student, per year for most school districts" (Sanders, A., 2014).
Schools in each district are looking for a "six to severn percent" financial increase for for a simple
ten minuets of increased time (Anderson, M., 2014 ) There is also concern regarding how this
extended time will effect students and educators. Students could be subjected to twelve hour days,
when considering travel and after school activities (Anderson, M., 2014). Many parents are concerns
their child will not have enough time to play, or spend with their family because of the demands of
the longer hours. Children are already exhausted by current schedules and many parents and
apposing individuals fear "burning out" students (Anderson, M,. 2014). New Jersey parents are also
worried about their children being in over heated classrooms and missing out on summer fun.

The Landmark New Plan A Good Idea?

Act. She includes opinions from the critics, as well as supporters to help establish and give facts
from both views to help citizens decide on the new act. Most of these critics and supporters
decisions are politically based and not formed on personal issues (hopefully). The genre of this

Not only will this be discussed job based, but for my personal issues as well. Will this new law help
in my future endeavors to receive health insurance at a low cost from my employer or will I decide
to seek health insurance elsewhere within this new Affordable Care Act?
II. Rhetorical Triangle
Clemmit does not bash the critics that oppose the Affordable Care Act. Instead of bashing, she
simply provides evidence and quotes from political leaders, national groups, and other important
parties that this new act will effect in a good manner or a negative one. An example of this situation
would be the quote included in her article from a critic that says, "Forcing employers to offer health
insurance...will cost America jobs and revenue, and inhibit small businesses from growing,", which
came from a small–business lobbying group, National Federation of Independent Businesses
(Clemmitt, 2010). Then she also includes a quote from president Obama which states, "Inability to
find affordable health coverage under the current law is one of the major reasons why small
businesses close their doors and corporations ship jobs overseas." (Clemmitt, 2010) The
interpretation of the Obama quote simply means that providing affordable health care coverage can

Sources Of New Business Ideas
Sources of New Business Ideas According to Hisrich, sources for new business ideas come from
five different thing; Customers, existing products and services, distribution channels, the federal
government, and research and development (Hisrich, 2013). Hisrich lays out these five different
channels but there are many other things that can produce a business idea, such as something as
simple as an entrepreneur having an issue in his/her life and creates something to make that issue
disappear. "By far the most popular source of ideas among respondents was a frustration that the
founder experienced in his or her personal life. Ever wonder how much your own problems might
be worth? Ask Kent Plunkett, who founded Salary.com when hiring a secretary and finding himself
unsure of what to pay. After building the world's largest compensation information database, Kent
eventually took the company public in 2007 at a valuation of $175M" (Gulati, 2013). New business
ideas are imperative for many companies' survive within their particular market due to the
innovative nature of most markets in this era. One source of new business ideas that the book shared
is observing the existing products and services within a market. So looking at what you or someone
else's is producing and make it better through a new design, new features make the product or

My New Ideas During The Renaissance
During the Renaissance, my new ideas became popular and more people wanted to make their
society better. In order for all this to happen, people needed to spread the word about the new ideas.
Three factors that contributed to spreading the word of the Renaissance are trade, books and
printing, and the governments at the time. However, some factors helped contribute more, or they
had a greater impact on the people. The most powerful factor was books and printing, and the least
helpful factor was the government's. Books and printing were among the most influential of all the
factors. When Johann Gutenberg invented the movable printing press, printing became much easier
and faster than ever before. When people started using the printing

The Idea Of Coordination Is Not New
The notion of coordination is not new. Goyal [7] was one of the first few models to address the
problem of a joint economic lot size for a system consisting of a vendor and a buyer. He assumed
infinite production rate and a lot–for–lot policy for the shipment from the vendor to the buyer.
Banerjee [8] relaxed the assumption of infinite production rate and assumed that the whole
production lot is ready before the shipment. Goyal [9] followed the same one–vendor and one–buyer
scenario to propose a number of equal–sized shipments of the production lots, after the whole lot is
produced. Lu [10] extended upon this approach to allow shipments to take place during production.

However, the discount associated with advance payment makes the replenishment cycle larger. Zhou
et al. [14] developed EPQ (economic production quantity) models to evaluate the optimal make–or–
buy decisions when a buyer faces a one–time–only discount offered by a vendor. They showed that
their decision depends on the discounted price as well as its timing. Shu et al. [15] assumed that
transportation lead time in a vendor buyer supply chain is exponentially distributed and the
transportation cost is a function of lot size. They showed that these assumptions lead to noticeable
cost reductions when compared with the traditional coordination models.
The impact of quality has also been of great motivation for the researchers in this field. Rahdar and
Nookabadi [16] have recently studied the coordination between a single vendor and multiple buyers
where inventory levels decrease due to deteriorating items. They formulated buyer's synchronizing
delivery days and their coordination with vendor's production cycle. They also suggested offering
profit sharing to buyer to encourage them for cooperation. Lee and Kim [17] assumed deterioration
to be an endogenous characteristic of products in a vendor–buyer supply chain. They conducted a
sensitivity analysis to differentiate between the impacts of deterioration and quality in a two level
supply chain.

Companies have started to use personality tests in the past five years so that they can find a potential
employee's strengths and weaknesses. If questions and answers are quite accurate and test is done
properly it can help an employer to find more about person's advantages and disadvantages. It is
very important to know because one of the most important points is that most of personality tests
help to recognize unqualified candidates. "Although experts warn that many personality assessments
don't deliver what they promise, legitimate scientifically validated tests are helping employers

prospects of solar energy equipment which will make use of solar energy to harness and convert it

Some of the solar companies have generated good amount of revenues last year. Moreover, Federal,
state and local governments offer incredible solar tax credits and rebates to encourage homeowners
to switch to renewable energy to lower their energy usage and switch to solar power. The amount of
the rebate subsidy varies by program, but some are generous enough to cover up to 30% of your
solar power system cost. Therefore, it would be beneficial for Cindy to set up such solar installation
company. The federal government allows you to deduct 30% of your solar power system costs off
your federal taxes through an investment tax credit (ITC). If you do not expect to owe taxes this
year, you can roll over your credit to the following year. Such huge incentives and benefits from the
side of government will satisfy the social soul of Cindy as she likes to work for the society.
These incentives dramatically lower the cost of a solar power system or energy efficiency project.
These tax credits and rebates often make solar power less expensive than power from the utility
company. We will start from the overview of the U.S economy, the current GDP volume and the
contribution by each sector. The inflation rate and the unemployment rate would also have great
impact on the growth and the operations of the business in U.S. With crude oil prices

Implementing New Technologies And Innovative Ideas

  • 1. Implementing New Technologies And Innovative Ideas Businesses of various size and scale are leveraging new technologies and innovative ideas in their operations to gain competitive advantage, add value and remain viable in the 21st Century. Integrating new ideas and creating change to existing business models involves careful planning with temporary projects formed to initiate the changes. While corporate leaders and entrepreneurs focus on the directives of the business, the tasks of overseeing the planning of these temporary projects from inception to completion is given to designated project managers. Components of projects are: (a) they have an objective; (b) have a beginning and end; (c) involve multiple departments and professionals; (d) have never been done before; (e) account for time, cost and performance. (Gray & Larson, 2014). The purpose of this paper is to introduce this writer's project proposal that will bridge the business's existing reporting tool to enable multiple users and departments across different business functions to access the same reports. From this point on, the project will be referred as Project Bridge. Project Bridge consists of a system enhancement that integrates business functions in a reporting tool that will allow faster reporting, provide more efficiency, and have capability to report sales volume by location. This writer will enact the role of Project Manager for Delectable Desserts, a mid–size business that specializes in manufacturing dessert products for restaurants. In this ... • 5. Is Google Really Making Us Stupid? Essay In a lecture hall, a professor stands in front of a classroom full of students as he waits for an answer to his question. A student raises his hand and answers "no," but he is unable to explain his conclusion. In Deborah Tannen's article "The Roots of Debate in Education and the Hope of Dialogue," she talks about how we should not just focus on stating that other people's points are wrong and that the only way to seem original or creative is to prove other people's points are wrong. This topic is highly important for students who are just entering college where they will encounter open discussions and the test of their ability to think outside of the box to prove an answer. Tannen's ideas about the topic of debate may be quite beneficial ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In Twenge's article, she builds upon individualism, self–esteem and narcissism while Tannen's article discusses the insecurity and difficulty among females when expressing opinions against men. Through Tannen's article, students can learn the importance of debate in discussion and defending opinions, which will broaden their scope on a particular topic. Incoming UCONN students can benefit from Tannen's article where they can be introduced to the concept that there is a need to develop a meaningful context into which subsequent ideas and skills can be assimilated in the involvement of debate. "The Roots of Debate in Education and the Hope of Dialogue" presents a whole new way of thinking that could be helpful for a new UCONN student. It focuses on how negative approaches to debate is not the way to go. Quickly Tannen discusses how at the beginning of our early life, we are all taught, sometimes inadvertently, that we should not have to bring down other people's ideas to bring up our own. Following this, she teaches a tactic to regulate our approach on how we think about things or how we feel about things and in the end it is about how we perceive the world. We need to be taught how to think and transform our ideas into a weapon when we go into a discussion. One flaw in the argument culture is that it has a tendency for individuals to approach an issue with a debate–mentality that leads to criticism and attacks on the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 9. The Idea Of Evolution In A Brave New World The definition of evolution is a change in the heritable characteristics of biological populations over successive generations. This is true all around us with developments in many species of animals and plants as humans shape a new world, but with a topic so broad can one sentence truly define what happens next in multiple different species. If you dissect this it specifies a heritable change in a biological population, but what if the next step in life is not technically alive? Over the years we have grown from microscopic organisms to a species with superior mental development, articulated speech and have even managed to spread ourselves across Earth. We have done what was previously thought impossible by being able to edit our own genetics and even program robots to do simple everyday tasks for us. The real question is what is our next step, every step of evolution so far from australopithecus to our current form of humans we have advanced and grown to become a smarter version of our previous selves and in doing so eliminated multiple competing species. To advance from our current beings we most likely have three options. Those options include changing our own DNA enough( both overall population and in the amount of change) that we are turned into a new species or we could be replaced/ overthrown by a new generation of artificial intelligence that is smarter than us. The last option is mass extinction by either a worldwide natural disaster or the process of exhausting ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 13. Essay on The New Idea of Modernism In the time after World War One a new way of thinking became prominent. This new idea is what we call Modernism. After the war it was realized that many people had suffered absolute horrors, ones that they never could have imagined, or ever forget. The violence and pain witnessed by so many left them psychologically shell–shocked, and filled with disillusionment. These psychological effects would soon alter the world for years to come, and lead many to a loss in faith and questioning of everything they once believed true. Many of the social normalities these people had before they left for war, were abandoned. People exchanged their proper ways for more relaxed ideals. In this new society people were more able to express themselves, how ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... They were. The fact that women were now questioning the rules they once lived, only shows that people were finally shifting away from the past and into a new era of thinking. Women were not the only ones to questioning society during this time, both men and women had seen the use of chemical weapons, brutal battles, and an enormous waste of human life, people had "rushed like lions to the roaring slaughter "(e.e cummings, line 10 ) making it difficult to believe in a divine being or anything else, because who would let something that terrible happen? Due to this new lack in faith people came to question the moral code by which society ran. They became more concerned about their own moral code, rather than trying to fulfill societies expectations, since it seemed to only let them down. This is shown quiet well when Jake Barnes reflects on his own moral code in The Sun Also Rises, saying "That [is] morality; things that made you disgusted afterward. No, that must be immortality" (Hemingway 152). Jake like a great number of people after the war were clearly more interested in their own concerns than those of anyone else. People after the war were very selfish, they were tired of adhering to societies expectations and never seeing any results. The no longer believed in holding themselves back because of how society would view them. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 17. Diversity Can Create New Ideas Diversity, in general, is important because it provides our society and culture with varying, inimitable and stimulating perspectives. There seems to have a tendency to create groups and various social strata and you find it everywhere around the world in various degree. Diversity goes beyond recognizing that we are different in measurable ways. Diversity can create new ideas and changes that can be beneficial to a society, or even the world. On a global scale, diversity is fundamental to the development of new ideas, innovation and is a critical component of being prosperous on an overall level. • 21. The Importance Of Education In America The education system in the United States is one that has changed throughout time, and one that has drastically changed in the relatively recent years of the country. While the US was once a country that educated its students based on obtaining knowledge meant to help the individual succeed in daily life, the system is believed to have changed due to many of its students wishing to become accustomed to life in factories. This factory and manufacturing lifestyle was one with long, strenuous work days, with little time for breaks or communication between its workers. With this change came a change in the education, leading to long, strenuous work hours, and with an emphasis on standardized tests. This has thus changed the system from a curriculum that was once arts, music, and literature focused into one that focuses solely on mathematics and sciences. Through Scott L. Newstok's article "How to Think Like Shakespeare," Newstok analyzes how this change has led to the elimination of the contentment and even the imagination aspects of education. Without embracing the possible variations in education of students, this leads to the potential decline in advancements of the United States as a society. Throughout his text, Newstok proposes multiple ideas regarding how the change in the education system has led to the decline of the overall function of society. Newstok notes that thought should not be restrained exclusively to what is learned during classes, but instead should ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

And this quote is correct for most people because we know that the world is rounding and two evenings are never same. In this rounding world, new ideas come out everyday: some of them are dying but some of them changes the world. Most of inventions that we use in our daily life is based on 20th century. Of course in our time technology and science is far more developed however, to develop something you should invent it and that happened on 20th century. This developements are sometimes terrifying. • 29. The New Idea Of Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis What is over–reaching? The definition may be unclear in many retrospects, but the true definition is 'certain areas in knowledge that humans should not "explore or cross". Throughout history there has been over–reaching of all types; examples of past and present societal over–reaching has been; Amelia Earhart attempting to circle the globe in a plane consequently ending with her disappearance over the Bermuda Triangle, the new idea of Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis allowing technology to identify genetic diseases in a child's DNA or even changing the appearance of your baby to have a "designer baby", Henry Worsley attempting to become the first person in history to cross the Antarctic continent alone, with no aid from outside sources, ... The first frame is the letters of Robert Walton to his sister, Margaret Seville, in these letters the reader discovers that Walton is in pursuit of glory and knowledge that no one knows. During his conquest, Walton finds himself stuck in the ice of the North Pole, he desires to continue his conquest, but slowly he's destroying his crew's lives and losing their loyalty to him. The middle frame of the novel exhibits that Victor Frankenstein's over–reaching causes the seclusion of his friends and family, which starts after the commencement of his creature. When Victor's seclusion begins, his focus has mostly turned to natural philosophy. Frankenstein spent much time in this state, not once going home, but solely focusing all his attentions on the natural philosophy of physiology. "My cheeks had grown pale with study, and my person had become emaciated with confinement" (48), the reader concludes from this quote that Victor has almost completely secluded himself by working on this new species. "...my person had become emaciated with confinement" gives confirming evidence that Victor has alienated himself from other individuals. After the middle frame, the reader comes to the inner frame which is where the Creature tells the reader(s) his tale. Throughout while the creature was telling his account, he alienates himself from human beings several times. The monster, after being created as innocent and unknowing of ... • 33. Post Warhol : A New Idea POST WARHOL IT WAS NOT UNTIL MID–20TH CENTURY, THAT THE MODERNIST NARRATIVE WAS REPLACED BY A NEW WAY TO THINK ABOUT ART. THE NEW THINKING SUGGESTED THAT THERE COULD NO LONGER BE A MASTER NARRATIVE; COULD NO LONGER BE A SET OF RULES WHICH FORMED A BASIS FOR JUDGEMENT ABOUT ART. IN FACT, THE QUESTION "IS IT ART?", MAY HAVE BEEN VIEWED AS MEANINGLESS. A NEW IDEA EMERGED: ANDY WARHOL TOLD US: ART IS WHAT ARTISTS DO–AND, "ARTISTS" ARE PEOPLE WHO CALL THEMSELVES ARTISTS. OR, AS JOSEPH BEUYS PUT IT, "EVERYONE IS AN ARTIST." IF "ART" WAS SOMETHING WE COULD RECOGNIZE AND DEFINE, DOES THIS CHANGE TO "ANYTHING GOES" SIGNAL THE END OF "ART?" WERE THERE ANY STANDARDS BY WHICH WE COULD MAKE JUDGEMENTS ABOUT VALUE AND QUALITY? NEW FORMS, PRESENTATIONS AND IDEAS ARE EVERYWHERE. PERFORMANCE, DIGITAL OFFERINGS, SPOKEN WORDS, ETHNOGRAPHY, STORYTELLING, FOUND OBJECTS AND EVERYTHING ONE CAN IMAGINE IS NOW CALLED ART. INTELLECTUAL ACCESSIBILITY TO THE PRESENTATIONS AND UNDERSTANDING OF THEIR MEANING IS UNCLEAR, AND OFTEN OBSCURED BY ARCANE ACADEMIC THEORIES AND INDECIPHERABLE EXPLANATIONS. "BEAUTY" IS NO LONGER A DEFINING FACTOR. THE NEW STANDARD SEEMS TO BE "MEANING." SO I ASK HOW WE DISCOVER MEANING. OFTEN THE MATERIALS AND PHYSICAL PRESENTATION DO NOT PRESENT A CLUE . . . NEITHER AN ENTRY POINT TO AN ARTIST'S INTENTION NOR A REFERENCE TO THE MEANING OF THE ART. WE ARE AT A LOSS WITHOUT A HISTORY, A CONTEXT OR PERHAPS, AN EXPLANATION ON A MUSEUM WALL. "What works for whom under what circumstances?" Putting these words into unpretentious, this question and the influence of "what works" section of the question essentially demonstrates effectiveness of the apparatus, procedure, performance, processes, and methods of innovation. Associates and individuals who manage and lead organizations generally concentrate on and pay more attention on "what works." Therefore several of these efforts have created dissatisfaction results because the methods to facilitate were applied with very modest or no consideration for the individuals involved, associating "for whom" or the detailed of irreplaceable conditions or perspective, stating "under what circumstances." A New Idea For The Proposal Of Race A New Idea for the Proposal of Race to the Students of UC Merced Leo Alonso Cabrera Professor Danielson Writing 010–31 UC Merced Introduction o Introduce the theme of your essay, which revolves around the concepts of race and how college students choose to break social norms  College students are typically introduced to new, and often time radical ideas, that are very different from the ones that they are shown in home.  Personal Anecdote: Before coming to school here in UCM, my dad would often talk to me in many different occasions throughout my life about the concept of race and what it represents: o Honor o Family o Education o Class Many times he would emphasize to me that people of other races do not have the ability to value the same things as a Hispanic would, and would many times reference the family of my Ex–Girlfriend, whose family is Native American and would often use stereotypes, such as "Indian Alcoholism" to show me how their priorities are different than mine. For instance the idea of the Enlightenment, which lead to new intellectual ideas, logical/factual mindsets that weren't seen as much before and religious tolerance. Before this , close to everything was biblical based. However to an extent the new ideas of the Enlightenment and religious tolerance displayed the religious influence and corruption of Europe during the 18th century. Knowing the information now I would like to use a printing press as a newspaper to create awareness about some of the problems people in the Renaissance were dealing with. Throughout this paper I will be discussing three major topics that were important in Western Europe at the beginning of the Renaissance to increase awareness. First gender, which was a method regarding the domination of women. Second social and economic difference between poor and wealthy. Finally spice trade, which made a big impact in the Renaissance. In the 15th century the Renaissance has changed a lot in Western Europe and part of England. Women had lost more power from their economic freedom due more men were getting educated and they were going out to work to make more money. • 57. New Ideas from the Past New Ideas from the Past Transcendentalism describes a school of thought which teaches that each person possesses a different set of beliefs that will ultimately lead the person to find an individual view of truth. It teaches that everyone comes into this world morally sound, and society eventually becomes responsible for each of their downfalls, because society tries to force its own outlook about what truth is and how to find truth onto the individual. Problems which plague an individual can be traced back to parallel the larger problems of the evil society at large. This not only includes the pressures seen through laws and government, but spans over all influences of the human mind, for example, religion and philosophy. In Ralph Waldo Emerson's Historic Notes of Life and Letters in New England, he wrote about a specific era in history that teemed with people who started to believe these ideals three hundred years before he was writing. He asserts that that this individualistic, self reliant way of thinking was not new, and should not be limited to influence only one area of human life, but all aspects of society. While the official Transcendental movement took place in the 1830s, Emerson argued that main ideas from the movement had been causing conflict for centuries. He claimed when new ideas like these come to the surface, it can be hard to identify directly where tension with old ideas is coming from at first, but the effects of the conflict are widespread: "At ... Vaughan, Marcos Martins with Muntsa Vicente), a sci–fi graphic novel, explores society's views on technology by defying what the reader may expect by portraying a society that strongly opposes and fears current world attitudes towards technology. Privacy in this world is seen as so exceedingly important that society in it has completely rejected the internet. They still advance technologically, but in a different direction than in the real world, and use various kinds of masks and other appearance altering technologies for the sake of privacy. They gravitate towards these types of technology because of familiarity, and deny anything that could potentially compromise their privacy, like the internet. Essentially, it's a moral thing, but to the degree that threatening privacy would be like threatening their freedom. Privacy is part of what being a human is to these people. It's a natural thing that everyone should have to them. This is where The Private Eye and real life are most alike in that one's idea of what it is to be human determines willingness to accept new technologies. Familiarity is what causes this idea of what human is when it comes to accepting new technology or ideas. In real life, people generally enjoy the ideas of sci–fi–esque technologies in theory. The reason many inventions in science fiction don't actually exist is because they go beyond what people consider human, at least the doable ones. Sure, technology is intended to ... • 90. Representations Of Discovery In Robert Frost's 'Tuft Of... It takes a monumental experience to recognise discovery and to that extent the composer's manipulate their ideas on discovery and represent them in a way that is memorable. Robert Frost's "Tuft of flowers", "Mending wall" and Jean–Marc Vallée's "Wild" have intertwining ideas of Nature and Relationships that leads to emotional and intellectual discoveries. In this speech I will present to you my understanding of how "Representations of discovery are made memorable through the composer's ways of communicating". In Robert Frost's "Tuft of flowers", the connection of man and nature leads the composer to make an emotional discovery. Frosts unorthodox rhyming style of having 5 iambs in each line makes the poem unique and its quest to realising discovery unique. With that in mind by choosing an unusual form, Frost makes the idea apparent to me in a way that is memorable. Also Frost contrasts the flower with the cut grass shows that he has encased a connection between them and himself as he recognises the beauty of the flower in "...and led my eye to look/At a tall tuft of flowers beside a brook" this new understanding lead him on the path of finding the emotional discovery. Through this poem, Frost showed me that discoveries can lead to refinding yourself and finding new perceptions and by demonstrating this idea he has further my understanding of discovery through the notion of making it memorable. In the notion of discovery, a connection with nature leads to an unparalleled growth in one self as shown by Jean–Marc Vallée's "Wild'. Like Frost's "Tuft of flowers", "Wild" shows the connection to nature is essential to the path of discovery. Vallée uses naturalistic lightning on the face of his character to shows the emotions, and expressions the character has on the various of landscape from the desert to the snow. The uses of the lighting highlights the changes of the characters emotion throughout her journey across the land and thus illustrates her new found discovery of her emotions. In some sense, both "Tuft of flowers" and "Wild", makes their ideas memorable by using different techniques to elevate their characters, by doing so the concept of discovery becomes more apparent to me. In order for all this to happen, people needed to spread the word about the new ideas. Three factors that contributed to spreading the word of the Renaissance are trade, books and printing, and the governments at the time. However, some factors helped contribute more, or they had a greater impact on the people. The most powerful factor was books and printing, and the least helpful factor was the government's. Books and printing were among the most influential of all the factors. When Johann Gutenberg invented the movable printing press, printing became much easier and faster than ever before. • 126. The Idea Of Coordination Is Not New The notion of coordination is not new. Goyal [7] was one of the first few models to address the problem of a joint economic lot size for a system consisting of a vendor and a buyer. He assumed infinite production rate and a lot–for–lot policy for the shipment from the vendor to the buyer. Banerjee [8] relaxed the assumption of infinite production rate and assumed that the whole production lot is ready before the shipment. Goyal [9] followed the same one–vendor and one–buyer scenario to propose a number of equal–sized shipments of the production lots, after the whole lot is produced. Lu [10] extended upon this approach to allow shipments to take place during production. Goyal [11] proposed a different approach for the shipment of lots in a ... [14] developed EPQ (economic production quantity) models to evaluate the optimal make–or– buy decisions when a buyer faces a one–time–only discount offered by a vendor. They showed that their decision depends on the discounted price as well as its timing. Shu et al. [15] assumed that transportation lead time in a vendor buyer supply chain is exponentially distributed and the transportation cost is a function of lot size. They showed that these assumptions lead to noticeable cost reductions when compared with the traditional coordination models. The impact of quality has also been of great motivation for the researchers in this field. Rahdar and Nookabadi [16] have recently studied the coordination between a single vendor and multiple buyers where inventory levels decrease due to deteriorating items. They formulated buyer's synchronizing delivery days and their coordination with vendor's production cycle. They also suggested offering profit sharing to buyer to encourage them for cooperation. Lee and Kim [17] assumed deterioration to be an endogenous characteristic of products in a vendor–buyer supply chain. They conducted a sensitivity analysis to differentiate between the impacts of deterioration and quality in a two level supply chain.
