Hip-Hop Dance Cardio
Workout
Enumerate the benefits of engaging in aerobic exercise
Identify the basic hip-hop dance steps
Perform the basic hip-hop dance step correctly and set the start to
improving cardiovascular endurance
To appreciate hip-hop aerobic dance as an enjoying and effective
recreation and fitness activity
Objectives:
1. How do you describe the dance movements that you have just
seen from the video?
2. Have you seen the four street dance styles in that video?
3. How is math used in dancing ?
Definition of Terms:
● Aerobic Fitness- It is a measure of your body's ability to take oxygen from the atmosphere and
use it to produce energy for your muscle cells.
● Calorie- It is a unit of measure, and it is used to measure the energy value of foods.
● Coordination- It is the ability to select the right muscle at the right time with proper intensity to
achieve proper action. Coordinated movement is characterized by appropriate speed, distance,
direction, timing and muscular tension
● Agility- It is the ability to move and change the direction and position of the body quickly and
effectively while under control. It requires quick reflexes, coordination, balance, speed, and
correct response to the changing situation.
Calorie and fat burning workout
Improve coordination, flexibility and agility

Encourage confidence and develop social skill
