Market, producer, consumer product, demand, buyer, seller 
1) Marketing involves activities concerned with transfer of goods from the producer to the customer 
2) Marketing creates, places, time and possession utility 
3) Marketing aims at customer satisfaction 
4) In market exchange two parties must be presents buyer (customer) and seller (marketer) 
5) Buyer and seller must have the freedom to either accept or reject the offer 
6) It deals with activities like product planning development, pricing packaging, branding, selling etc. 
7) Marketer satisfies the existing needs and desires of the customers according to their socio-economic 
conditions.

Teacher begins the class by exhibiting components of a picture and 
asked students to correctly arrange the pieces and form the picture. The 
picture is of a market. 
Continuously teacher asked :- 
From where you buy products? 
Student link their previously knowledge to the new 
learning situations. 
Phase II:- development phase 
Activity I (Brain storming and general discussion followed by a 
video presentation) 
Teacher exhibit a video relating to buying and selling and asked 
students identifying various persons 
Through their responses teacher directs the students to the meaning of 
marketing. 
Marketing 
Marketing involves all activities that are facilitating the movement of 
goods and services from producer to consumer. 
Activity II( Drama or role play) 
Teacher arranges the class for a drama where three students represent 
as a producer, customer, and a public representative and their role is 
assigned earlier. Student performs their assigned role which reveals the 
importance of marketing
