INTRODUCTION
According to Carr, ‘History is a continuous process of interaction between
the historian and his facts.’ It is an unending dialogue between the past and
present. To know about the dialogues we need the help of Historical resources.
The historical resources like library, museum, caves etc helps the historical
teaching and learning. The history teacher of today is becoming more concerned
with the facilities required for doing good work. The historical resources also help
the teaching.

history. It provides a variety of material for instructional work, guidance to teacher for
curriculam construction and in the selection of good book and help the pupils in
regarding and to adults in the locality ,in counseling and guiding .It lays the
foundation for free enquiry and intellectual development.

education of school children on they bring home to them much more vivdly
than any prosaic lectures, discoveries, of the past and various developments
that have taken place in many fields of science and technology’ Again the
commission observes, we believe it is necessary from the educational point of
view to establish such museums in important centers at least wherein both
ancient and modern collection will be exhibited and in some cases even
demonstration given of the actual development of various scientific
discoveries. Nothing can impress students in the formative age so much as
the actual visualizing of these experiments in a graphical manner
museums are made up or materials used in classroom teaching which are collected,
classified and exhibited by students, with or without the help of a teacher. The
museum activities may be an extracurricular function of the class or the school or
they may be incorporated in to a scientific experimental method of teaching.
Objectives:
(1) To form with in the school or the classroom an embryonic community
dedicated to the usual occupations reflected in the school life of adults:
(2) To permit visual instruction and experimentation with actual museum
speciments;
(3) To stimulate enthusiasm for study and research among both teachers and
students;
(4) To stimulate interest, co operation and participation in cultural activities
and scientific research conducted by the larger museums
(5) To instruct students in proper scientific methods of laboratory research
and museum conservation and exhibition techniques
(6) To form in the absence of the larger museums in the community, a
nucleus from which the classroom museum can grow beyond the limits of the
school to serve ultimately the community and the region as whole
 CAVES
A cave or cavern is a hollow place in the ground, especially natural underground of
space large enough for a human to enter. Caves form naturally by the weathering of
rock and often extend deep underground. The word “cave” can also refer to much

History, from it we find the culture and nature of primitive man

Historical resources also help historical learning and teaching. History is an
unending dialogue between present and past through the historical resources we
also become the part of history or the part of these dialogue. With the help of
