This document discusses using an integrated project-based learning approach to teach principles of information systems courses. It begins by explaining the motivation and benefits of project-based learning according to the National Education Act of 1999 and learning pyramid theory. The objectives are then presented to develop a teaching and learning process for the course using project-based learning.
The methodology follows an action research approach involving planning, implementation, observation, and reflection phases. In the planning phase, project-based learning concepts and the Agile model were used to determine the framework. Students then implemented projects on selected topics while the teacher observed. Finally, student performance and learning outcomes were evaluated based on project outputs and questionnaires to assess the effectiveness of the approach.
