Language teaching media are tools used by teachers to deliver language lessons in an engaging way. There are two types of media: nontechnical and technical. Nontechnical media such as blackboards, whiteboards, flashcards and posters are inexpensive, widely available, accessible and easy to use. Technical media like record players, CD players, televisions and computers are more costly and less user-friendly. The effective use of different media can help motivate students and present language lessons in a communicative manner.
