3. Language Teaching Media is a method where media used to
complement the teaching-learning process. It happens because
prescribed text books alone can’t guarantee the required language
learning.
Media will make the language teaching better and more effective. It
also will enhance the students’ ability to understand and experiment
with the language. In fact, media can act as a facilitator in the
teaching-learning process. It has immense potential as an instructional

4. Types Of Media

• Nontechnical Media
Advantage in settings where electricity is unreliable, technical resources
are scarce, or funding is limited. Low cost, availability, accessibility, and
user-friendliness. (Brinton, 2005)
5. Technical Media
They carry a large degree of “psychological reality”. Since students
tend to surround themselves with technology in their daily lives, they
may grow to expect it in the language classroom as well.

,spacemen, game puzzle, wall charts etc.
These make visual impression to the learner. They attract pupils' attention
and aid concentration, as they illustrate meaning more directly and quickly
