 A crossword is a word puzzle that normally
takes the form of a square or a rectangular grid
of white and black shaded squares.
 The goal is to fill the white squares with letters,
forming words or phrases, by solving clues
which lead to the answers.
 In languages that are written left-to-right, the
answer words and phrases are placed in the grid
from left to right and from top to bottom.
 The shaded squares are used to separate the
words or phrases.
 A spelling contest is a competition in which
contestants are asked to spell a broad
selection of words, usually with a varying
degree of difficulty.
 The concept is thought to have originated in
the United States,[4] and spelling bee events,
along with variants, are now also held in
some other countries around the world.
 A spelling bee helps child, gain the
confidence they need to speak in public and
accept their mistakes, while also getting the
applause their hard work deserves.
 Many of Vocabulary Learning Fun’s
vocabulary word games are organized with
dozens of categories of vocabulary lists. By
making connections between words and ideas,
and between words and pictures, we build
vocabulary skills.
 Connections between vocabulary words make
the process of building vocabulary skills faster
and more efficient.
 The fun of English vocabulary games can help
both native and foreign speakers of English
build their English language vocabulary skills.
There are vocabulary word games for all levels
of English.
VOCABULARY GAME
• Puzzles are great for helping young brain
develop and grow.
• child does puzzles, they are doing one of the
best brain building exercises for developing
their reading, math and logic skills
.
• They also develop problem solving skills and
individual success and achievement.
• Puzzles are often an individual activity.
Puzzling requires a high degree of
concentration for a period of time.
• It is a wonderful way for children to gain
confidence in their growing abilities.
Using games is one of the most important way to teach efficiently in a language class.
Games mean the world to children. Nothing is more fun than playing games for them because
they feel happy and free while playing. Remember when you were a child, you will remember the
games you played and the happiest moments of your life.
It does not matter indoor or outdoor, we can not deny the importance of games. If
students learn with games, have fun, feel happy and free, it means that you have reached your
goals. Games strengthen language skills, besides, learners develop social skills and good
relationships while they interact with each others.
