Kidney’s are dark red in colour.
It is a bean shaped structure placed one on either
side of the vertebral column.
Right kidney is slightly on the lower level than the
left.
Kidney purifies blood and eliminates impurities in
the form of urine.
Ureter is a slender mascular tube takes its origin
out the notch called hilum and runs backward to join
the urinary bladder.
It serves to conduct the urine from the kidney to the
urinary bladder.
Urinary bladder is a hollow organ with thin
muscular walls located in the lower part of the
abnormal cavity.
Urine is temporarily stored in the urinary bladder.
Urethra is the opening through which urine is passed
out of the body.
The base of the urethra is surrounded by circular
muscles.
Circular muscles when relax open urethra and
urinary bladder contracts and force urine out called
urination.
