Twitter Sentiment Analysis Project Done using R.
In these Project we deal with the tweets database that are avaialble to us by the Twitter. We clean the tweets and break them out into tokens and than analysis each word using Bag of Word concept and than rate each word on the basis of the score wheter it is positive, negative and neutral.
We used Naive Baye's Classifier as our base.

Social media communication is evolving more in these days. Social networking site is being rapidly increased in recent years, which provides platform to connect people all over the world and share their interests. The conversation and the posts available in social media are unstructured in nature. So sentiment analysis will be a challenging work in this platform. These analyses are mostly performed in machine learning techniques which are less accurate than neural network methodologies. This paper is based on sentiment classification using Competitive layer neural networks and classifies the polarity of a given text whether the expressed opinion in the text is positive or negative or neutral. It determines the overall topic of the given text. Context independent sentences and implicit meaning in the text are also considered in polarity classification.
Project Report for Twitter Sentiment Analysis done using Apache Flume and data is analysed using Hive.
I intend to address the following questions:
How raw tweets can be used to find audience’s perception or sentiment about a person ?
How Hadoop can be used to solve this problem?
How Apache Hive can be used to organize the final data in a tabular format and query it?
How a data visualization tool can be used to display the findings?

Selecting User Influence on Twitter Data Using Skyline Query under MapReduce ...TELKOMNIKA JOURNAL
The aim of this research was to select and identify user influence on Twitter data. In identification stage, the method proposed in this study was matrix Twitter approach, sentiment analysis, and characterization of the opinion leader. The importan characteristics included external communication, accessibility, and innovation. Based on these characteristics and information from Twitter data through matrix Twitter and sentiment analysis, a algorithm of skyline query was constructed for the selection stage. Algorithm of skyline query selected user influence by comparing with other users according to values of each characteristic. Thus, user influence was indicated as user that was not influenced by other users in any combination of skyline objects. The use of MapReduce framework model in identification and selection stage, support whole operation where Twitter had big size data and rapid changes. The results in identification and selection of user influence exhibited that MapReduce framework minimized the execution time, whereas in parallel skyline query could reveal user influence on the data.
Temporal Exploration in 2D Visualization of Emotions on Twitter StreamTELKOMNIKA JOURNAL
As people freely express their opinions toward a product on Twitter streams without being bound
by time, visualizing time pattern of customers emotional behavior can play a crucial role in decisionmaking.
We analyze how emotions are fluctuated in pattern and demonstrate how we can explore it into
useful visualizations with an appropriate framework. We manually customized the current framework in
order to improve a state-of-the-art of crawling and visualizing Twitter data. The data, post or update on
status on the Twitter website about iPhone, was collected from U.S.A, Japan, Indonesia, and Taiwan by
using geographical bounding-box and visualized it into two-dimensional heat map, interactive stream
graph, and context focus via brushing visualization. The results show that our proposed system can
explore uniqueness of temporal pattern of customers emotional behavior.

Detection and Analysis of Twitter Trending Topics via Link-Anomaly DetectionIJERA Editor
This paper involves two approaches for finding the trending topics in social networks that is key-based approach and link-based approach. In conventional key-based approach for topics detection have mainly focus on frequencies of (textual) words. We propose a link-based approach which focuses on posts reflected in the mentioning behavior of hundreds users. The anomaly detection in the twitter data set is carried out by retrieving the trend topics from the twitter in a sequential manner by using some API and corresponding user for training, then computed anomaly score is aggregated from different users. Further the aggregated anomaly score will be feed into change-point analysis or burst detection at the pinpoint, in order to detect the emerging topics. We have used the real time twitter account, so results are vary according to the tweet trends made. The experiment shows that proposed link-based approach performs even better than the keyword-based approach.
Sentiment Analysis of Twitter tweets using supervised classification technique IJERA Editor
Making use of social media for analyzing the perceptions of the masses over a product, event or a person has
gained momentum in recent times. Out of a wide array of social networks, we chose Twitter for our analysis as
the opinions expressed their, are concise and bear a distinctive polarity. Here, we collect the most recent tweets
on users' area of interest and analyze them. The extracted tweets are then segregated as positive, negative and
neutral. We do the classification in following manner: collect the tweets using Twitter API; then we process the
collected tweets to convert all letters to lowercase, eliminate special characters etc. which makes the
classification more efficient; the processed tweets are classified using a supervised classification technique. We
make use of Naive Bayes classifier to segregate the tweets as positive, negative and neutral. We use a set of
sample tweets to train the classifier. The percentage of the tweets in each category is then computed and the
result is represented graphically. The result can be used further to gain an insight into the views of the people
using Twitter about a particular topic that is being searched by the user. It can help corporate houses devise
strategies on the basis of the popularity of their product among the masses. It may help the consumers to make
informed choices based on the general sentiment expressed by the Twitter users on a product.
