This document discusses using machine learning algorithms to predict stock market prices. Specifically, it analyzes using Support Vector Machine (SVM) and linear regression (LR) algorithms to predict stock prices. It finds that linear regression provides more accurate predictions than SVM when tested on the same stock data. The methodology trains models on historical stock data using these algorithms and predicts future prices, achieving up to 98% accuracy when testing linear regression predictions on Google stock prices. It concludes that input data and machine learning techniques can effectively predict stock market movements.

In the recent scenario, nevertheless to say, modern
finance is facing many hurdles to find effective ways to gather
information about stock market data at one shot. At the same
time it is inevitable for both individuals & institutions to
visualize, summarize & enhance their knowledge about the
market behavior for making wise decisions. This paper surveys
recent literature in the domain of neural network variants to
forecast the stock market trends. Classification is made in
terms of dependant variables, data preprocessing techniques
used, network structure, performance analysis and other
useful modeling information. Through the surveyed papers it
is shown that the neural network variants are widely accepted
to study and evaluate stock market behavior compared to
standalone neural network.

Stock price forecasting is a popular and important topic in financial and academic
studies. Share market is an volatile place for predicting since there are no significant
rules to estimate or predict the price of a share in the share market. Many methods
like technical analysis, fundamental analysis, time series analysis and statistical
analysis etc. are used to predict the price in tie share market but none of these
methods are proved as a consistently acceptable prediction tool. In this paper, we
implemented a Random Forest approach to predict stock market prices. Random
Forests are very effectively implemented in forecasting stock prices, returns, and stock
modeling. We outline the design of the Random Forest with its salient features and
customizable parameters. We focus on a certain group of parameters with a relatively
significant impact on the share price of a company. With the help of sentiment
analysis, we found the polarity score of the new article and that helped in forecasting
accurate result. Although share market can never be predicted with hundred per-cent
accuracy due to its vague domain, this paper aims at proving the efficiency of Random
forest for forecasting the stock prices

establish an accurate prediction model. This study used a back-propagation neural network (BPN) as the
research approach, and input 29 variables, such as international exchange rate, indices of international
stock markets, Taiwan stock market analysis indicators, and overall economic indicators, to predict
Taiwan’s monthly tourism industry stock index. The empirical findings show that the BPN prediction model
has better predictive accuracy, Absolute Relative Error is 0.090058, and correlation coefficient is
0.944263. The model has low error and high correlation, and can serve as reference for investors and
relevant industries

This paper uses a case based study – “product sales estimation” on real-time data to help us understand
the applicability of linear and non-linear models in machine learning and data mining. A systematic
approach has been used here to address the given problem statement of sales estimation for a particular set
of products in multiple categories by applying both linear and non-linear machine learning techniques on
a data set of selected features from the original data set. Feature selection is a process that reduces the
dimensionality of the data set by excluding those features which contribute minimal to the prediction of the
dependent variable. The next step in this process is training the model that is done using multiple
techniques from linear & non-linear domains, one of the best ones in their respective areas. Data Remodeling
has then been done to extract new features from the data set by changing the structure of the
dataset & the performance of the models is checked again. Data Remodeling often plays a very crucial and
important role in boosting classifier accuracies by changing the properties of the given dataset. We then try
to explore and analyze the various reasons due to which one model performs better than the other & hence
try and develop an understanding about the applicability of linear & non-linear machine learning models.
The target mentioned above being our primary goal, we also aim to find the classifier with the best possible
accuracy for product sales estimation in the given scenario.

Through a comparative analysis approach and eight weeks of data collection, the study addressed key research questions related to solar radiation patterns and optimal system design. The findings highlighted regions with heightened solar radiation levels, showcasing substantial potential for power generation and emphasizing the system's efficiency. Optimizing system design significantly boosted power generation, promoted renewable energy utilization, and enhanced energy storage capacity. The study underscored the benefits of optimizing hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems for sustainable energy usage.
