The document proposes a "Mystery Dustbin" system that uses various sensors to automatically segregate waste into categories like wet, metal, plastic, and dry garbage. The sensors include a moisture sensor, inductive sensor, capacitive sensor, and ultrasonic sensor. The system would send alerts to the municipal corporation via GSM when the bins are full so the garbage can be collected in a timely manner to better manage waste.
In this paper, we present a cost effective and efficient smart waste management system that acts as an easy link between the user and the authority by providing a mobile application to monitor the bin interfaced with appropriate sensors. Solar Based Autonomous Ship for Cleaning Garbage & Surveillanceijsrd.com
Water pollution with floating garbage is getting more and more serious in many countries. The design of an autonomous ship for cleaning the garbage floating on a lake has been proposed. The ship is powered by a solar battery. Circuit for protection of the excessive charge and discharge of the battery system has been used. Ultrasonic sensors have been equipped to detect the distance between the ship and the bank of the lake. The position and the orientation of the ship can be determined by measuring the distance between the ship and the bank at two successive times, which is used for controlling the running direction of the ship to make the ship autonomously run in an annular zone of a short distance away from the bank. The ship has also been equipped with a system to detect the occurrence of obstacles and to bypass the detected obstacles. Two screw propellers have been installed at the two sides of the ship to drive the ship, which makes the ship change its direction nimbly. A photo-resistance has been used to determine if it is in daytime or nighttime. The ship circulates the lake only one time at nighttime to save power energy. Wireless remote control is also available, which makes the ship user friendly. Experiments have demonstrated the applicability of the design.
This sensor can be used to test the moisture of soil, when the soil is having water shortage, the module output is at high level, else the output is at low level. By using this sensor one can automatically water the flower plant, or any other plants requiring automatic watering technique. Module triple output mode, digital output is simple, analog output more accurate, serial output with exact readings.
Solid waste management is one of the major aspect which has to be considered in terms of making urban area environment healthier. IoT: smart garbage monitoring using android and real time databaseTELKOMNIKA JOURNAL
Every single day, garbage is always produced and sometimes, due to the unbalance between high volume produced and the garbage volume transported to the landfill; it then leads to the buildup. To prevent any negative impact on environment, a system is needed to support the waste management process. Smart Garbage Monitoring System consists of two parts: portable garbage can and monitoring application using android smartphone. The use of ultrasonic sensor, GPS and GSM Module on the garbage can aims to provide the data on the garbage and send it to the real time database, in which the data will be processed by the monitoring application on smartphone to determine the time of garbage transport purposely to prevent any buildup. The system doesn't need a server to process, because the entire process of will be run by android application on a smartphone. Test results showed the capability of the system in monitoring the garbage can with the minimum distance between the wastes by three meters. The information on the height level of garbage can be synchronized in real time to smartphone, with an average delay on the EDGE network of 4.57 seconds, HSPA+ of 4.52 seconds and LTE of 3.85 seconds.
Internet of Things (IoT) based smart devices are the core elements for any smart environment. The sensors and actuators make the life easier when they are connected to one another and to the Internet. The Smart city and ‘Swach Bharath Abhiyan’ projects introduced by the Government of India tried to promote clean and hygienic Environment. The constant growth of population, industrialization and urbanization increase the unorganized manner of dumping the solid waste in landfills. Smart waste management is the must in all countries due to the voluminous generation of solid waste. In this paper, a methodology for monitoring the dustbins in smart cities, household or organization is proposed. The dustbins are monitored very often to check the garbage level. Whenever the dustbins reach maximum level, alert will be sent to the corresponding authorities with the bin details to dispose the waste. Additionally, the gas sensors in the dustbins detect the bad smell and alert when it reaches the threshold level though the garbage level will not reach the dustbin’s maximum capacity. The areas which require emptying the dustbins very often area also identified. Large-scale implementation of the system will promote a clean and hygienic environment. by Mr. Pujari Y. Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.
NUMERICAL SIMULATIONS OF HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER IN CONDENSING HEAT EXCHANGERS...ssuser7dcef0
Power plants release a large amount of water vapor into the
atmosphere through the stack. The flue gas can be a potential
source for obtaining much needed cooling water for a power
plant. If a power plant could recover and reuse a portion of this
moisture, it could reduce its total cooling water intake
requirement. One of the most practical way to recover water
from flue gas is to use a condensing heat exchanger. The power
plant could also recover latent heat due to condensation as well
as sensible heat due to lowering the flue gas exit temperature.
Additionally, harmful acids released from the stack can be
reduced in a condensing heat exchanger by acid condensation. reduced in a condensing heat exchanger by acid condensation.
Condensation of vapors in flue gas is a complicated
phenomenon since heat and mass transfer of water vapor and
various acids simultaneously occur in the presence of noncondensable
gases such as nitrogen and oxygen. Design of a
condenser depends on the knowledge and understanding of the
heat and mass transfer processes. A computer program for
numerical simulations of water (H2O) and sulfuric acid (H2SO4)
condensation in a flue gas condensing heat exchanger was
developed using MATLAB. Governing equations based on
mass and energy balances for the system were derived to
predict variables such as flue gas exit temperature, cooling
water outlet temperature, mole fraction and condensation rates
of water and sulfuric acid vapors. The equations were solved
using an iterative solution technique with calculations of heat
and mass transfer coefficients and physical properties.

Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.

Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.
