This document describes an intelligent room lighting system that monitors and controls light intensity based on ambient light levels and occupancy detection to reduce energy waste. The system uses an LDR to measure ambient light, a PIR sensor to detect occupancy, and a TRIAC voltage regulator and servomotor to adjust light intensity from lightbulbs and window screens accordingly. It aims to automatically provide the desired light level in a room without wasting energy by leaving lights on when not needed. The system is an improvement over conventional manually operated or motion-activated switches that do not consider ambient light levels.
AUTOMATED LIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM FOR OFFICESDrm Kapoor
Electricity is one of the most important resources in this century that should be conserved. On several occasions, we get out of rooms, offices, hall and forget to turn off the lights/fan, thus the electricity is wasted and billing is also increased. Manual operation of light in offices is one of the challenges being faced by members of staff in any organization. This research work is focused on design and implementation of an automatic light controller used in offices in order conserve electricity as well as reducing electricity bill.. The major component used for the implementation of this research was Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) which works on the principle of changes in resistance of LDR according to light falling on it. This will ensure proper conservation of energy which reduces the cost of bill paying to IBDEC (Ibadan District Electricity Company). Manual application of controlling bulbs is eliminated by using this system. This automated system is not only applicable to offices but also applicable in, rooms, Hostels, Street lights, Garden lights, Hotels etc. Automatic light control requires less labor to operate since it works automatically therefore the running and opportunity cost is encouraging.

The primary objective of such this project is to achieve an optimal level of control of occupant comfort while minimizing energy use. Monitoring temperature, pressure, humidity occupancy, and flow rates are key functions of modern building control systems.
In today’s world energy saving has become a major factor and need. This project is developed keeping this problem in mind. The huge amount of electrical power of many countries is consumed in lighting the streets. However, there are stages of time when there is less vehicle density during night time or even no vehicles during late night time. The main principle of this system is object detection and then triggering the respective circuit and to provide light only at that part of road where it is needed. Logically, this system may save a large amount of the electrical power. This paper focuses on the proposal of different possible architectures of this system.

Forest fires are the most dangerous enemies of the forest, also the most horrific disaster of forestry. It will bring the most harmful and most devastating consequences for the forest. Forest fires not only burn the forest, hurt the animals in the forest, but also reduce the ability of the forest to update, causing the soil to barren and damage the role of forest water conservation, and even lead to the ecological environment out of balance.
Video surveillance as an extension of human vision, widely used in security precautions, public places, such as security monitoring. Intelligent monitoring system is based on the possible occurrence of unsafe factors for early warning, recording, alarm, for the monitoring staff to take targeted decision-making measures to provide technical basis for real-time or after the review to provide technical information.
The fire protection system generally uses a sprinkler, the sprinkler head / head will
break and the water radiates in all directions to extinguish the fire but also damages
electronic equipment, this research can minimize damage by designing sprinklers that
direct water spray in certain areas detected by the sensor. Integrating fire protection
systems with electrical installation systems to prevent fires. Build a web-based
intelligent information system that is integrated between fire protection systems and
electrical installation systems. The research method has 4 stages, namely stage I,
preparation of all the tools and materials needed, making a controlled sprinkler
prototype directing the spray. Perform testing until this system works properly. Phase
II, the making of an electrical installation panel that has been connected to a
sprinkler, creates a system that is integrated through the web site between the fire
protection system and the building's electrical installation system. Stage III, testing
equipment until it is successful. Stage IV, making research reports into a dissertation,
publishing in national and international journals. From this research, a prototype
sprinkler system has succeeded in directing the jet of water directly to the hotspot. The
system simulation works at the maximum distance according to the effective sprinkler
beam which is 90 cm. The blackout time depends on the position of the fire in the
sprinkler range. The fire point located on the scanning path farthest from the starting
point requires a relatively longer blackout time than the hotspot near the starting
point of scanning. Intelligent sprinkler systems and electrical installation systems have
been integrated through the web service.

DESIGN OF AN INTELLIGENT AND EFFICIENT LIGHT CONTROL SYSTEMEditor IJCATR
Recently, many researches has been carried out to save the energy in many aspects such
as producing a device which consumes very less energy or designing a system which helps to
reduce the power consumption using the existing devices. In this paper, a room light control system
is proposed which is named as light control system (LCS). This proposed system will able to
provide the needed light which provides the satisfaction of users and will provide energy saving
and management.
In this paper the Lighting Control System and the decision making algorithm, are
discussed. As per the algorithm the system will first check any occupant is there in the room. If so
then the system will check the intensity of light in the room and if it is low then it will switch on the
light.
Our proposed system can able to minimize the energy consumed for lighting in a room
and can able to provide it efficiently.

Smart Home Management System Using Wireless Sensor Network (WSN)paperpublications3
Abstract: Nowadays, shortage of electricity is a very serious problem due to insufficient production. The wastage of electricity can be avoided by switching off the electrical appliances when not in use. This can be achieved by using Smart home system which automatically turns off loads when not in use, the system can save energy in homes and offices. The system will automatically switch off based on the presence of people at home. Another major issue is that there might be occurrence of theft when nobody is present at home. The theft can be avoided by using MEMS accelerometer which intimates the user through registered mobile number when there is an unexpected break of windows or door through the GSM modem. The system in addition also has a provision for the user to fix energy consumption reading and when the user consumption exceeds a fixed reading, a message would be sent to the users registered mobile number through the GSM modem. Applications for this system include workstations, open office cubicles, home offices, and home entertainment systems.

This paper presents the design of an Adaptive Light Dimmer based on the method of sensingambient light content to adjust lamp's light intensity accordingly, and thus regulating the room's light content. The device is designed to work with renewable energy sources such as wind and solar energy. This would be useful in less developed countries where AC electricity is not well spread and renewable DC sources, such as solar, can be better utilized. It functions by using the TSL2561 light sensor, ATTiny85 microcontroller to output PWM to the LED driver, LT3795 LED driver to output current to an LED and LT3014 LDO to lower the input voltage and power the microcontroller and sensor. The dimmer is designed to work with a 48V input voltage and operate from an input light range of 20 to 100 Lux. Above 100 Lux the light is off and below 20 Lux the light is fully on.

Optimized energy efficient lighting system for green buildingseSAT Journals
Abstract
Increasing population places increasing demands on energy supply, which leads to heavy power deficiency. We can supply only a
limited amount of energy to the consumers because we have only limited conventional sources of energy and non-conventional
energy sources are mostly still under research and have not been deployed on a large scale. Not only there is limited amount of
energy to be supplied to the consumers but heavy demand of energy supply also leads to environment degradation. This creates a
need to use the limited energy efficiently. This has given rise to new trend towards reducing the energy consumption: Green
Buildings. About 40% of the energy consumption in the world is consumed by buildings [1]. Energy consumed by lighting systems
accounts for about 15% of total energy consumption of buildings [1]. Thus we need to use energy efficient lighting devices for
illuminating buildings. Thus in this study we to tend to develop optimized energy efficient system, which will use LED lights to
illuminate buildings. The illumination intensity of the LED lights will be decided by the FPGA, which is interfaced to the LED
driver. Based on combined values of light intensity of the room and occupancy of the room using different sensors, the light output
of the LED will be controlled.

Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.
