DETECTION OF FAKE ACCOUNTS IN INSTAGRAM USING MACHINE LEARNINGijcsit
With the advent of the Internet and social media, while hundreds of people have benefitted from the vast sources of information available, there has been an enormous increase in the rise of cyber-crimes, particularly targeted towards women. According to a 2019 report in the [4] Economics Times, India has witnessed a 457% rise in cybercrime in the five year span between 2011 and 2016. Most speculate that this is due to impact of social media such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter on our daily lives. While these definitely help in creating a sound social network, creation of user accounts in these sites usually needs just an email-id. A real life person can create multiple fake IDs and hence impostors can easily be made. Unlike the real world scenario where multiple rules and regulations are imposed to identify oneself in a unique manner (for example while issuing one’s passport or driver’s license), in the virtual world of social media, admission does not require any such checks. In this paper, we study the different accounts of Instagram, in particular and try to assess an account as fake or real using Machine Learning techniques namely Logistic Regression and Random Forest Algorithm.
Comparative Study of Cyberbullying Detection using Different Machine Learning...ijtsrd
The advancement of social media plays an important role in increasing the population of youngsters on the web. And it has become the biggest medium of expressing one’s thoughts and emotions. Recent studies report that cyberbullying constitutes a growing problem among youngsters on the web. These kinds of attacks have a major influence on the current generation’s personal and social life because youngsters are ready to adopt online life instead of a real one, which leads them into an imaginary world. So, we are proposing a system for early detection of cyberbullying on the web and comparing different machine learning Algorithms to obtain the optimal result. We are comparing four different algorithms which can be effectively used for the detection of cyberbullying, with the implementation of the bag of words algorithm with different n gram methods. Comparatively naïve Bayes algorithm has the highest accuracy of 79 with trigram implementation of the bag of words algorithm. The quick access to information on social media networks as well as its exponential rise also made it
difficult to distinguish among fake information or real information. The fast dissemination by way of
sharing has enhanced its falsification exponentially. It is also important for the credibility of social media
networks to avoid the spread of fake information. So it is emerging research challenge to automatically
check for misstatement of information through its source, content, or publisher and prevent the
unauthenticated sources from spreading rumours. This paper demonstrates an artificial intelligence based
approach for the identification of the false statements made by social network entities. Two variants of
Deep neural networks are being applied to evalues datasets and analyse for fake news presence. The
implementation setup produced maximum extent 99% classification accuracy, when dataset is tested for
binary (true or false) labeling with multiple epochs.
In this Project we analyses the spread and impact of the novel coronavirus pandemic which has taken the world by storm with its rapid growth. In this we like to develop a machine learning model in Python to analyze what has been its impact so far and analyze the outbreak of COVID 19 across various regions, visualize them using charts and tables, and predict the number of upcoming confirmed cases.

Owing to the increasing demand for reliable products built globally, and through the evolution of machine design, the need for improved and a common communications protocol in different geographical regions has intensified. In this paper, the goal is to reveal that the current protocols used to support disparate communication types in manufacturing have caused complexity in configurations and an increase in monetary overhead for industrial system designers and the end users. Through the simulation of an industrial network, the packet timing, and packet loss between peer-to-peer systems, similar protocol systems will be compared with two dissimilar protocols systems to establish the thesis. The internal validation research method used in this study will reveal the need for an all-inclusive protocol to eliminate the timing and packet loss issues, the systems’ configuration complexities, and the need to reduce the monetary overhead currently associated with the machine communications.

Cyber bullying Detection based on Semantic-Enhanced Marginalized Denoising Au...dbpublications
As a side effect of increasingly popular social media, cyberbullying has emerged as a serious problem afflicting children, adolescents and young adults. Machine learning techniques make automatic detection of bullying messages in social media possible, and this could help to construct a healthy and safe social media environment. In this meaningful research area, one critical issue is robust and discriminative numerical representation learning of text messages. In this paper, we propose a new representation learning method to tackle this problem. Our method named Semantic-Enhanced Marginalized Denoising Auto-Encoder (smSDA) is developed via semantic extension of the popular deep learning model stacked denoising autoencoder. The semantic extension consists of semantic dropout noise and sparsity constraints, where the semantic dropout noise is designed based on domain knowledge and the word embedding technique. Our proposed method is able to exploit the hidden feature structure of bullying information and learn a robust and discriminative representation of text. Comprehensive experiments on two public cyberbullying corpora (Twitter and MySpace) are conducted, and the results show that our proposed approaches outperform other baseline text representation learning methods..

This paper gives an insight into how to detect fake news using Machine Learning and Deep Learning Techniques. On observing our data, we have categorized our data into five attributes namely Title, Text, Subject, Date, and Labels. In order to develop an efficient fake news detection system, the feature along with its degree of impact on the system must be taken into consideration. This paper attempts at providing a detailed analysis of detecting fake news using various models such as LSTM, ANN, Naïve Bayes, SVM, Logistic Regression, XGBoost, and Bert.
