This document discusses the design, development, and analysis of a slat conveyor for handling bagasse in the sugar industry. It analyzes different configurations of the slat conveyor by varying the angle of the slats. The total cross-sectional area of bagasse on the conveyor is calculated for slat angles of 90, 91, 92, 93, and 94 degrees. Varying the slat angle slightly changes the dimensions in the calculations and results in small variations to the total cross-sectional area values.
