This document describes a bus arrival information system that provides passengers with real-time updates on bus arrival times and seat availability. The system has two main components: 1) A transmitter module installed on buses that uses RFID cards and sensors to track location, estimate arrival time, and count passengers/vacant seats. 2) A receiver module at bus stations that displays this information via an LCD screen. The system aims to help passengers make more informed decisions by knowing how long until the next bus arrives and if there are seats available. An emergency button is also included to notify delays. The system uses a microcontroller, GSM modem, and other hardware to wirelessly transmit data between buses and stations.
