This document proposes a smart bus tracking system for a smart city using IoT. It involves developing an Android application that allows passengers to track public buses using GPS and get estimated arrival times. Infrared sensors in buses would detect passenger entries and exits to report occupancy levels. Algorithms like K-means and decision trees are used to calculate estimated times and detect delays. The system aims to help passengers plan their travel better by providing real-time bus location, timing and occupancy information digitally.

A smart card (nametag) is provided to each student. Smart Card contains student information. At the entrance of the bus, RFID card reader will be provided (Internally its connected with GPS Device). Students need to flash the smart card (nametag),
while entering into the bus at pick-up point (Pickup)
while leaving from bus at a school (Pickup)
while entering into the bus after school (Drop)
while leaving bus at drop point (Drop)
A sms will be sent in each of the above cases. Parents can check exact location of bus on online software of eTechSchool Bus. Individual UserID and password will be provided to parents. Parents will be able to check the bus location of their child only. User Id and password will also be provided to school administrators, so that they will be able to check location of all buses.

Live tracking ie. the system provides real-time location data that displays the movement of the bus along with the date and time stamp, direction, speed and number of students in the bus on a map.
For Parents: Track the child getting in/out of the bus and entering or leaving the School.

In the present world, traffic congestion caused by vehicle is a frustrating problem and it has been growing exponentially. Car parking problem is one of the major contributor for this traffic congestion especially in urban cities. Currently the manual method where in the driver finds the parking area by luck and in most cases it leads to failure, if the driver is in a city with high vehicle density. As an alternative for this we proposed “IOT POWERED PARKING SYSTEM”. It mainly aims on deduction of time in finding the parking slots and also it avoids the unnecessary travelling through filled parking slots in a parking area. Thus by decreasing the fuel consumption which in turn reduces carbon elimination in our atmosphere.

Its area data are transmitted using the WI-FI module to the server and are recovered by the mobile application which offers many options attractively and with no cost to users and lets the user check reservation details. With IoT technology, the smart parking system can be connected wirelessly to easily track available locations.
: This paper is aimed at designing a density based dynamic traffic signal system where the timing
of signal will change automatically on sensing the traffic density at any junction using the IoT technology. Traffic
congestion is a severe problem in most cities across the world and therefore it is time to shift more manual mode
or fixed timer mode to an automated system with decision making capabilities. To optimize this problem, we have
made a framework for an intelligent traffic control system. Sometimes higher traffic density at one side of the
junction demands longer green time as compared to standard allotted time. We therefore propose here a
mechanism in which the time period of green light and red light is assigned on the basis of the density of the
traffic present at the time. This is achieved by using LIDAR sensors.

While selecting automobiles for sale, the proposed software will automatically check for total number of available stock of that particular item, if the total stock of that particular item is less than 5, software will notify the user to purchase the particular item.
Also when the user tries to sale items which are not in stock, the system will prompt the user that the stock is not enough. Customers of this system can search for a automobile; can purchase a automobile easily by selecting fast. On the other hand the stock of automobiles can be maintained perfectly by the automobile shop manager overcoming the drawbacks of existing system.
