This document discusses the results of a survey on familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) in the construction industry in Surat, Gujarat, India. The survey found that 91% of respondents were not using or aware of BIM. After being introduced to BIM, 65% of respondents said they would be willing to use BIM in the future. Current BIM users in Surat primarily use Autodesk Revit and Navisworks. BIM adoption is increasing as clients demand greater time and cost efficiencies, but issues around training, documentation, and collaboration still need to be addressed for wider acceptance of BIM in the region.

AUGMENTECHTURE - 3D Projection of Building Construction Floor Plan using Mark...vivatechijri
Nowadays, due to rising growth in all sectors, be it in healthcare, infrastructure, finance, education, and logistics, etc. Even though in the era of smart technology constructors, builders are using the old-style method, i.e., usage of brochures by generating 2D sketches of project layout. Builders use these files to sell their construction sites like flats, buildings, or any property to clients by just showing them various floor Plans in multiple views, etc. This procedure aims to be unproductive and ineffective because it does not give a clear idea regarding how exactly the property will look like. Augmented Reality, as shifting to a new developing technology, it gives an entirely new outlook for development. The AR implementation offers many advantages for construction planning, which will help our customers to draw a clear view regarding the assets before making deals without actually visiting the sample flats. To develop an AR-based brochure as a development tool that will serve as an application to intelligently increase the clients by minimizing their efforts and easing their decisionmaking process and maximizing the complete efficiency.

Exploring the adoption of building information modelling (bim) in the malaysi...eSAT Journals
Abstract The construction industry believes that Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a platform that has the potential to promote collaborative activities in the construction industry. Thus, clients are gradually enforcing the use of BIM in their projects, resulting in many construction companies investing in BIM technology in order to fulfill clients' needs. Therefore, the goal of this study is to explore the process and the level of BIM implementation in the Malaysian construction industry. This study was conducted as an exploratory study through literature review and interviewing the organisations that have had BIM experience. The result reveals that Malaysian construction industry players are having difficulties to implement BIM because they do not know where, when and how to start as there is no national BIM standard and guideline for them to follow. Lack of government involvement worsens the current situation besides having the resistance to change from people. To reduce the resistance from people, most of the companies came out with their own strategy such as developing new BIM unit, developing training and education program, changing management style and developing new roles and responsibilities. These activities could facilitate people and the organisations in adopting BIM because BIM is not only a technology but it is also involved in changing the current practices and processes including changing managerial function and hierarchy, including roles and responsibilities. Small to medium scale pilot projects can be described as the best practice to adopt BIM in reducing the risk when migrating from the traditional approach to a new approach. This study also identified that BIM Level in the Malaysian construction industry is between Level 0 and 1. Index Terms: Building Information Modelling (BIM), Malaysian Construction Industry, Government Roles, National BIM Standard, Training and Education, Change Management.

Benefits and Barriers of BIM Adoption in the Iraqi Construction FirmsAM Publications
The absence of using the advanced technology in the construction industry lead to conflicts and complexities in the implementation of project tasks in the various phases of construction. Therefore, the need to use the technique of Building Information modeling (BIM) is the essential matter to discover the conflicts that may occur during implementation the construction project. The purpose of this study is to identify the current perception to implement the BIM technique in the Iraqi construction firms. The method of data collection was a quantitative in nature, by designing a questionnaire to find out the perceptions of BIM benefits and barriers. Out of 180 emails, only 72 responses received which represented architects, civil engineers, MEP engineers, Owners, contractors, and consultants. Data analysis has been adopted the relative important index (RII) method, through a calculate the responses frequent by SPSS software, version 22. This study shows benefits and barriers of BIM technique in the Iraqi construction firms. In addition to that, offer solutions to overcome barriers.

CFD Simulation of By-pass Flow in a HRSG module by R&R Consult.pptxR&R Consult
CFD analysis is incredibly effective at solving mysteries and improving the performance of complex systems!
Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production.
It is always satisfying when we can help solve complex challenges like this. Do your systems also need a check-up or optimization? Give us a call!

Hybrid optimization of pumped hydro system and solar- Engr. Abdul-Azeez.pdffxintegritypublishin
Advancements in technology unveil a myriad of electrical and electronic breakthroughs geared towards efficiently harnessing limited resources to meet human energy demands. The optimization of hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems plays a pivotal role in utilizing natural resources effectively. This initiative not only benefits humanity but also fosters environmental sustainability. The study investigated the design optimization of these hybrid systems, focusing on understanding solar radiation patterns, identifying geographical influences on solar radiation, formulating a mathematical model for system optimization, and determining the optimal configuration of PV panels and pumped hydro storage. Through a comparative analysis approach and eight weeks of data collection, the study addressed key research questions related to solar radiation patterns and optimal system design. The findings highlighted regions with heightened solar radiation levels, showcasing substantial potential for power generation and emphasizing the system's efficiency. Optimizing system design significantly boosted power generation, promoted renewable energy utilization, and enhanced energy storage capacity. The study underscored the benefits of optimizing hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems for sustainable energy usage. Optimizing the design of solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems as examined across diverse climatic conditions in a developing country, not only enhances power generation but also improves the integration of renewable energy sources and boosts energy storage capacities, particularly beneficial for less economically prosperous regions. Additionally, the study provides valuable insights for advancing energy research in economically viable areas. Recommendations included conducting site-specific assessments, utilizing advanced modeling tools, implementing regular maintenance protocols, and enhancing communication among system components.
Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.
