This document describes an automated household water monitoring and billing system. The system uses a flow sensor to measure the amount of water used daily. It then generates a bill and displays it on a website. If the bill is unpaid, the system allows the admin to remotely cut off the water connection using a login and password. The goal is to reduce water usage by making users aware of their consumption through visible billing. It also aims to conserve water for future generations by encouraging efficient use. The system uses an ESP8266 WiFi module to transmit water usage data to a web server. This allows bills and usage statistics to be viewed online. Overall, the system aims to promote water conservation through automated monitoring and billing of household water use.

The principle objective of our assignment is to display the water level as well as controlling with IoT and android application. IoT-BASED WATER LEVEL MONITORING SYSTEM OF DAMS IN KARNATAKA,This project proposes a wireless solution, based on Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) network for the monitoring and controlling of the dams water level parameter.
The equipment uses an ultrasonic sensor device to accurately measure and determine the waters in real time.
The standalone Water Level Monitoring System is equipped with solar panel and makes use of an ultrasonic sensor to measure the rate of change of water level using the principle similar to radar and sonar.
The sensor calculates the time interval between sending the signal and receiving the echo to determine the water level.
The information collected is then transmitted to a central server at a predefined interval, via SMS.
