Design for Additively Manufactured Structure An Assessmentijtsrd
"The design of lightweight structures realized via additive manufacturing has been drawing considerable amount of attentions in academia and industries for a wide range of applications. However, various challenges remain for AM lightweight structures to be reliably used for these applications. For example, despite extensive advancement with geometric design, there still lacks adequate understanding with the process material property relationship of AM lightweight structures. In addition, a more integrated design approach must also be adopted in order to take non uniform material design into consideration. In our works, a design approach based on unit cell cellular structure was taken in the attempt to establish a comprehensive design methodology for lightweight structures. Analytical cellular models were established to provide computationally efficient property estimation, and various design factors such as size effect, stress concentration and joint angle effect were also investigated in order to provide additional design guidelines. In addition, it was also found that the geometry and microstructure of the cellular structures are dependent on both the process setup and the feature dimensions, which strongly support the argument to establish a multi scale hierarchical cellular design tool. Experimental stress analysis and fea of dental implantseSAT Journals
Abstract Dental implants are used as prosthetic treatment alternatives made of Titanium for treating partial edentulism in patients. The
oessointegration of bone and implant at the interface is of utmost importance as the success or failure of a dental implant depends
on the manner in which stresses are transferred to the surrounding bone. The osseointegrated dental implant plays a role similar
to that of natural teeth as it is exposed to static and dynamic loadings continuously. However, the functional forces in
Osseointegrated dental implant are transmitted directly to the jaw bone as compared to the natural teeth where there is a healthy
periodontium. This could cause micro-fracture at the bone-implant interface, fracture of implant, loosening of components of
implant system and unwanted bone resorption. Therefore, it is essential to understand stress concentration on implants at the
bone implant interface. This study aims in investigating and monitoring the stresses along the bone implant interface for different
types of dental implant .Photo elastic stress analysis was carried on four commercial implants with varying diameter and same
length, and the verification of the experimental results was done using finite element analysis.

Stiffness Characteristics of Joshi’s External Stabilization System under Axia...IJERA Editor
A finite element model of fractured tibia with Joshi’s External Stabilizing System (JESS) mounted on it was developed using 3D beam elements in the ANSYS software. The model was loaded in axial compression and the average axial stiffness of the model was calculated. The analytical value of axial stiffness was compared with reported experimental value to validate the finite element model. The validated model was used to carry out parametric studies on the model to determine the axial properties of JESS. It was observed that axial stiffness of JESS increased by 58% when k-wire diameter was varied from 2 mm to 4 mm while keeping other geometric configurations of the device constant; however, the axial stiffness of the device does not show any significant improvement when the diameter of medio-lateral pins in diaphyseal hold were increased. The findings should help in understanding the axial properties of JESS so that it can be used judiciously in clinical applications.

EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON STRENGTH BEHAVIOUR OF SELF COMPACTING CONCRETE USING RE...AM Publications
The construction of modern structures alarming the attention of use of materials with improved properties
in respect of strength, stiffness, toughness and durability. Concrete is one of the most widely used construction material
having several advantages such as high strength, good mould ability and high durability. The major disadvantages of
concrete are its poorer tensile strength and lesser ductility (toughness). Conventional concrete used in building
construction and engineering applications requires compaction to attain strength, durability and homogeneity. The
typical method of compaction, by vibration, generates delays and additional costs in projects and could pose a serious
health hazard due to noise pollution in and around construction sites. Self Compacting Concrete (SCC) is a concrete
which is highly flowble, can flows readily into place, fill the formwork without any compaction and without undergoing
any significant segregation. Recycling is the act of processing the used material for creating a new useful product.
Construction and Demolished waste also generate Recycled Aggregate (RA). Such a Recycled Aggregate proved to be a
reliable alternative to Natural Aggregates (NA) in concrete. There is a growing need for renovation from a usual
consumption based society to a sustainable society owing the natural environment pollution, exhaustion of natural
resources and as decreasing capacity of disposal facilities for final waste. Use of aggregates from Building Demolished
Waste (BDW) in structural concrete is definitely an important stride. Use of RA in developing SCC is certainly a novel
thought towards achieving a sustainable concrete. There is a pressing demand for the use of Recycled Aggregate in
recent concretes, as sustainability is given the highest importance in today’s world. This has necessitated the make use
of Recycled Aggregates in SCC and fibre based SCC. Hence Reinforced Self Compacting Concrete using Recycled
Aggregate with fibres may be a potential material in construction. In order to clearly understand the performance of
such a concrete, there is a call for to study the stress-strain and flexural strength behaviour. The present study focuses
on flexural bond strength behaviour of Fibre Reinforced Self Compacting Concrete by replacing the natural Aggregate
with Recycled Aggregate. BDW is used as coarse aggregate in the concrete, with an aim to achieve sustainable concrete.

MOLDING PROCESS INDUCED ANISOTROPY EFFECT ON BUCKLING ANALYSIS OF FIBER- FILL...IAEME Publication
Fiber-filled plastic materials are commonly used in metal replacement applications. The combination of low weight and high stiffness makes fiber-filled plastics ideal for high-performance applications. The key to unlocking the potential of these plastics lies in the orientation of the fibers. The orientation direction and the degree of orientation of the fibers determine the mechanical properties of the molded part. The injection moluding process for fiber-filled parts can cause great
variation in strength throughout a part, the effects of the injection process should be considered in the design of such a part.
Analysis of the Flexure Behavior and Compressive Strength of Fly Ash Core San...IJERA Editor
In this paper, commercially available Fly Ash and Epoxy is used for the core material, woven glass fabric as reinforcing skin material, epoxy as matrix/adhesive materials used in this study for the construction of sandwich composite. Analysis is carried out on different proportions of epoxy and fly ash sandwiched composite material for determining the flexural strength and compressive strength, three different proportions of epoxy and fly ash used for the study. Those are 65%-35% (65% by weight fly ash and 35% by weight epoxy resin) composite material, 60%-40% and 55%-45% composite material. 60%-40% composite material specimen shows better results in the entire test carried out i.e. Flexure and Compression. The complete experimental results are discussed and presented in this paper.
But recently due to use of high grade of concrete and better quality control in the RCC structures, confinements in the joints as per the new provision of codes leading us to the problem of the congestion. It has been observed at many construction sites that this congestion leads to poor workmanship at the joints, which actually making the joint more vulnerable than previous. Researcher has been working on this area to counter act by Increasing the size of the joints, Using the steel fiber in the joints, Using GRFP to wrap the joints, Prestressing the beam including the joint, Using of the crossed rebar at the joint cores. Due to prestressing of joint through the beam has not been so effective and economical, the present paper come up with the direct way of prestessing the joints. This paper tries to combine the benefits of the crossed rebar and prestressing in the joints together. Experimental study of nano-composite materials on vibration responsesBarhm Mohamad
This paper present of experimental and numerical study of nano Al2O3 cantilever beam for forced vibration, addressing an unexplored area in the existing literature. The proposed nano composite cantilever beam is modeled with hole and crack. The study is based on history loading calculation and composite morphology a global parameter, the transverse crack in nano composite cantilever beam was studied and analyzed experimentally using a four-channel dynamic signal acquisition (NI 9234) module for making high-accuracy measurements and its ideal for vibration applications. The relationship between the dispersion and interaction of the alumina nanoparticles within the cantilever beam and morphology of the solid, hole and crack composite has been identified. Furthermore, the influence of particles Al2O3 at different concentrations (0%, 1%, 3% and 4%) have been studied respectively. Supporting results proved that the crack and hole depth increases with increases of history loading. Nanoparticles dispersed within the specimen can increase energy dissipation during vibration, leading to improved damping characteristics. For future work, it is recommended to utilize statistical frequency domain input, such as Power Spectral Density (PSD), for assessing the structural response instead of employing time history loading.

The number of areas in units is currently reducing daily due to the large population. Earlier, when populations werent as large, they continued to employ the horizontal arrangement due to the large area available per person . However, individuals today choose the vertical system tall building due to scarcity of area . All of the forces acting on the structure, including its own weight and the grounds ability to support it, must be taken into consideration. STAAD PRO will facilitate the process. Static analysis, seismic analysis, and natural frequency are examples of problems that STAAD PRO can address with IS CODE. FE Simulation Modelling and Exergy Analysis of Conventional Forging Deformati...IJERA Editor
The present paper examines the deformation behaviour of geometrical specimens of an aluminium alloy undergoing axial compression in a Universal Testing Machine under dry condition. It is observed that researchers have made attempts to investigate alternate specimens for friction calibration. It is found that ring compression test is recommended as the standard test for determination of coefficient of friction, because it gives reliable results. The effect of weight percentage of silicon carbide on microstructure, hardness and upsetting load is studied. The friction factor at die metal interface is evaluated by ring compression tests and its effect on non-uniform deformation is investigated. The experimental results are finally compared with those obtained by FEA simulation and modelling. In order to validate the predictability of these specimens, real experiments on them are carried out. Rings of standard dimensional ratio 6:3:1 in the same machine. Friction predictions from both specimen are found to be in close match, proposed alternate specimen offers a powerful tool for friction prediction in the absence of ring specimen. Some aspects of Exergy calculations have been in the past repeatedly used to quantify the quality and quantity of energy used in thermal energy processes. This attempt to drive a exergy utilization and compare for the first time two entirely different manufacturing processes, material processing by a mechanical method of straining of the material and thermal processing during cold forging of the same mass of the material using exergy formulation as metric. The exergy analysis of material processing is determined by performed work and utilized heat transfer using mechanical and thermal processes

Courier management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
It is now-a-days very important for the people to send or receive articles like imported furniture, electronic items, gifts, business goods and the like. People depend vastly on different transport systems which mostly use the manual way of receiving and delivering the articles. There is no way to track the articles till they are received and there is no way to let the customer know what happened in transit, once he booked some articles. In such a situation, we need a system which completely computerizes the cargo activities including time to time tracking of the articles sent. This need is fulfilled by Courier Management System software which is online software for the cargo management people that enables them to receive the goods from a source and send them to a required destination and track their status from time to time.
Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.
CFD Simulation of By-pass Flow in a HRSG module by R&R Consult.pptxR&R Consult
CFD analysis is incredibly effective at solving mysteries and improving the performance of complex systems!
Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production.
It is always satisfying when we can help solve complex challenges like this. Do your systems also need a check-up or optimization? Give us a call!
Work done in cooperation with James Malloy and David Moelling from Tetra Engineering.
