CuTech Talks- Art of Building IoT Products event held on 9th January 2016 at Cumulations Technologies. This PPT covers the topic "IoT Protocols" presented by Nagasai Panchakarla.
The Role of the Communication Protocols in the IoT: Pitfalls and AdvantagesFabio Gatti
IoT solutions should rely on solid basis in order to provide a step for the future. One of the foundation of building IoT solutions is identifying the appropriate communication protocol to use. Choosing among the different communication protocols may be a challenging task due to the fact that some protocols may be the right fit for one scenario but not necessarily for all.
In this session, we will examine the communication protocols including their pitfalls an advantages and how to choose the right one for your solution.

This is a technical presentation describing two protocols namely MQTT and CoAP for IoT communications. This explains the protocols in conjunction with OSI layers.
Zigbee is a technological standard designed for control and sensor networks based on IEEE 802.15.4. The standard is developed and promoted by the Zigbee Alliance.
This presentation provides a comprehensive state-of-the-art study of wireless sensor networks(WSN) - based IoT MAC protocols, design guidelines that inspired these protocols,
as well as their drawbacks and shortcomings.
ZigBee is the name of a specification for a suite of high level communication protocols using small, low-power digital radios based on the IEEE 802.15.4-2006 standard for wireless personal area networks (WPANs), such as wireless headphones connecting with cell phones via short-range radio. The technology is intended to be simpler and less expensive than other WPANs, such as Bluetooth. ZigBee is targeted at radio-frequency (RF) applications that require a low data rate, long battery life, and secure networking.
This presentation provides the various protocol used in internet of things environment. This presentation also provides brief information about Bluetooth Low Energy and Zigbee protocols and its applications.
A brief introduction to LoRaWAN given at the Webnesday in St. Gallen on January 11th 2017. The focus is to give an idea on what LoRaWAN is, why it helps for IoT applications and how to use it (in Switzerland).
Challenges of developing a Hardware Company and Product. Ksenia Vinogradova will share her experience at CTIA Super Mobility 2015, where the company will be exhibiting at Startup City Pavilion.
µIP (micro IP) is very small TCP/IP stack. Open source, widely used memory-constrained embedded product. This protocol stack intended for use with tiny 8- and 16-bit microcontrollers.

Global cloud services market (service type, cloud type, end user and geograph...Allied Market Research
Cloud computing is the practice of sharing network of remote servers which are hosted on the Internet to store, process, share, and manage data rather than on a local server or a personal computer. The services provided by the cloud computing technology are referred to as cloud services.
Majority of people are unaware of the differences, uses, and functionality of each of these cloud types provides as here, we break each of them down and explain what they provide. To know more visit http://nacloud.dimensiondata.com/
Cloud computing may be a confusing subject because of the number of different businesses offering what they call “cloud computing,” but it's not as complicated as it sounds. There are three types of cloud computing infrastructures, each with its own benefits.
A webinar discussing the costs associated with building an internet of things solution with various LPWAN technologies: LTE-M, NB-IOT, Ingenu, Sigfox, and more. Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) solutions are also considered.

Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!

Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message
Join us to learn more about this new, human-in-the-loop capability, brought to you by Integration Service connectors.
