Ethics and social responsibility are related in that social responsibility is the practical application of ethics for the benefit of society. Social responsibility holds that individuals have a civic duty to act for the benefit of society as a whole. For a society to function properly, there must be a balance between economic growth, social welfare, and environmental protection. Ethical theories provide guidance on how to fulfill social responsibilities and maintain balance among these three objectives.

organizational, or societal morals and values,
while social responsibility is the practical
application of ethical concerns for the benefit of
society as a whole.

 It is like a compass to tell us the direction what to do or

individuals and society and is also described as moral

 Moral philosophy is the branch of philosophy that
contemplates/explains what is right and wrong.
