2014 Ideas for using technology when teaching Religion in school J VillisJoanne Villis
I created this for my CPF3 component for 2014. Resources are based on a training day which I attended and are designed to complement the Digital Prayer Weebly.
In this workshop, participants will develop knowledge, understanding, and proficiency in using Google and the Web to develop student-centered, creative, and community-minded learning environments.
Creating and collaborating with Google Documents, Google Slides, and Google Forms
Using Google Apps to increase the functionality of Google Drive: Kaizena to record audio commentary and VideoNot.es to sync note-taking of YouTube videos
Exploring Chrome extensions such as Screencastify and Snagit to to do screen and image capturing and narration.
Employing a range of creative Web tools for producing audio, visuals, animation or video such as Padlet, Vocaroo, Fotobabble, Voki, Animoto, Thinglink, Powtoon and WeVideo.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have explored a powerful set of education platforms and tools, understand how to use these platforms and tools to serve diverse communities of learners, and understand pedagogical principles applicable even as new technologies emerge.
In today’s age, it is important to have a basic understanding of computer programming. Although not everyone will become a computer programmer as a result, it is helpful these days to understand how computers and various software applications run code behind the scenes; plus, troubleshooting esoteric messages becomes much easier with some computer programming essentials under your belt. Without a doubt, it can be difficult to teach coding skills, but if fun and engaging tools are introduced it won’t be too bad. Thinking like a programmer does involve problem solving, but it can enhance creative confidence and inventive learning. In this webinar:
• Learn the basics of some visual programming languages like Scratch, Hopscotch, App Inventor, Raptor and others.
• Understand basic code syntax to gain important mathematical, computational, and creative thinking concepts through playful learning!
• Discover alternative tools and applications to give people practice programming while having fun!
• Gain other programming ideas, computing devices, and apps to help children & young adults thrive in a world based on technology.

Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.

3. What is Evernote?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pjn6YkCY2yA
The
idea behind Evernote is to simplify and
organize your life by giving a place to keep all of
notes, images, files, web clips, etc. all in one place.
Using cloud based technology, Evernote allows you
to sync your phone, computer, and tablet devices
so that you have your files and documents
wherever you are. One of the best things about it is
that it’s free!

“Evernote,” “technology”, “collaboration,” and “
PLC.” You can have as many tags as you want.
15. How to: Create Tags
Directly
next your notebook, click the green word
that says “more.” More will change into “Add
