This document provides an overview of a training course on understanding the importance of engagement in leisure and social activities for health and social care. The training covers recognizing various activities, describing their importance for well-being and relationships. Trainees discuss activities, complete word clouds and quizzes, explore benefits using the PIES framework (physical, intellectual, emotional, social), consider legislation, and plan and demonstrate example activities. The importance of inclusive, creative activities for different service users is emphasized.
