The document discusses the increasing mental stress among youth and proposes solutions. It begins by outlining the problem - rising rates of mental stress, anxiety, and suicide among 15-30 year olds. Next, it discusses potential causes like unemployment and presents insights from research interviews with youth. Several solution ideas are then proposed, including an "Appli Mentally" app that allows anonymous meetings between users to share experiences. It would include features like tracking mental health over time, exercise guides, and donations. The document concludes by noting the solution was not tested but feedback suggests it could effectively address the challenge of mental stress.

Design Thinking: The one thing that will transform the way you thinkDigital Surgeons
What's the one thing that will transform the way you think? Design Thinking. The startups, trailblazers, and business mavericks of our world have embraced this process as a means of zeroing in on true human-centered design.
Design Thinking is a methodology for innovators that taps into the two biggest skills needed in today’s modern workplace: critical thinking & problem solving.
Of course, if you ask 100 practitioners to define it, you’ll wind up with 101 definitions.
Pete Sena of Digital Surgeons believes that Design Thinking is a process for solving complex problems through observation and iteration. At its core, he describes it as a vehicle for solving human wants and needs.
Minds are like parachutes; they only function when open. Thomas Dewar was a Scottish whiskey distiller.
Communicating ideas or insights is often the hardest part of the design process. And PowerPoint and Excel spreadsheets are limited in their ability to do this. But the communication tools used in Design Thinking—maps, models, sketches, and stories—help to capture and express the information required to form and socialize meaning in a very straightforward, human way.
The Five things that all definitions of Design Thinking have in common:
1. Isolating and reframing the problem focused on the user.
2. Empathy. A design practitioner from IDEO, the popular design and innovation firm strapped a video camera to his head and it was only then that he recognized why the ceiling is such an important factor when working with hospital patients. As a patient you lay in bed and stare at it all day. It’s these little details and true empathy that can only be realized by putting oneself in the user’s shoes.
3. Approach things with an open mind and be willing to collaborate. Creativity with purpose is a team sport.
4. Curiosity. We have to harness our inner 5-year-old here and really be inquisitive explorers. Instead of seeing what would be or what should be, consider what COULD be.
5 - Commitment. Brainstorming is easy. It’s easy to want to start a business or solve a problem. Seeing it into market and making it successful is not for the faint of heart. We’ve all read about big “wins” (multi-billion dollar acquisitions like Instagram and WhatsApp). What we don’t read about are people like Tony Fadell and Matt Rogers, who work for years before becoming industry sensations.
Pete describes what he refers to as the “Wheel of Innovation” as a process that continuously focuses on framing, making, validating, and improving on your concept. Be it as small as a core feature in your product down to the business model and business idea itself.
Design is about form and function, not art.
What are the business benefits for Design Innovation?
IDEO started an idea revolution when they coined this phrase DESIGN THINKING. Organizations ranging from early-stage startups up to Fortune 50 organizations have capitalized on this iterative appr
If you were wondering what exactly human-centered design is, we’ve got answers with some real-world examples for you.
Human-centered design comes under the design thinking methodology, where products and apps are built by focusing on the perspective of those who experience the problem.
This helps achieve the sweet spot of desirability, accessibility and usability while addressing the core needs of the people. If you look at successful innovations, you must have noticed some element of human-centered design in them.
Here are some of the innovations that were designed using the human-centered approach.
Metaverse has become ae buzzword in the tech industry. Not a single day goes by without a mention of it
in the media, especially around investments, startups building components, new platforms being
announced and large companies entering this world of digital engagement. There is undeniably a huge momentum of an almost real 3D virtual world, and the clarion call was perhaps Facebook rebranding itself
as Meta which will perhaps be remembered as a red letter moment in the evolution of the Metaverse.
This presentation is an introduction to artificial intelligence: knowledge engineering. Topics covered are the following: knowledge engineering, requirements of expert systems (ES), functional requirements of ES, structural requirements of ES, components of ES/KBS, knowledge base, inference engine, working memory, expert system, explanation facility, user interface, will ES work for my problem.
An introduction to open source softwareSanjuktaBanik
Open-source software (OSS) is computer software that is released under a license in which the copyright holder grants users the rights to use, study, change, and distribute the software and its source code to anyone and for any purpose.
Prompt engineering is a fundamental concept within the field of artificial intelligence, with particular relevance to natural language processing. It involves the strategic embedding of task descriptions within the input data of an AI system, often in the form of a question or query, as opposed to explicitly providing the task description separately. This approach optimizes the efficiency and effectiveness of AI models by encapsulating the desired outcome within the input context, thereby enabling more streamlined and context-aware responses.
Introduction: The advanced communication technology has reached to the remote nodal parts of our country and today, Smart Phones are commonly available even in distant villages. But unfortunately the real benefits of Smart Phones have not reached to the villagers especially to the farmer community who forms the backbone of our country’s economy. This is because, most of the mobile applications for Smart Phone have been developed only for urban life. But now or latter, the focus of mobile app development has to be redefined and some useful app has to be developed for the rural people especially for the farmers which not only provide them better livelihood, it will also strengthen our country’s economy. Proposed project will focus itself on agricultural information providing mobile app development for the nodal Indian farmers.
Problem Definitions: Even though our country has achieved phenomenal technological progress, still today, our Agricultural yield vastly depends on soil quality and climatic condition. Thus, the ever-increasing need for food to support the growing population in our country demands a systematic appraisal of its soil and climate resources in order to perform effective cultivation. The Soil and Land Use Survey of India (SLUSI), has dedicated many years in conducting Soil Survey and they have prepared Soil Fertility database area wise with details. With the Soil Fertility database, area wise, they have enlisted several vital soil parameters useful for cultivations e.g.; Soil pH, Electrical Conductance, Organic Matter, Cation Exchange Capacity, Base Saturation, Exchangeable bases, Water Holding Capacity, Particle Density, Bulk Density, Percent Pore Space, Particle Size Distribution, Moisture Equivalent etc. Similarly, India Meteorological Department is also providing information about agriculture related weather parameters for coming months and years. But till now impact of such valuable information has not reached to the end users “the farmers” in effective manner. That’s way, every year before cultivating any crop/vegetable, still our farmers want to know;
“If they cultivate this crop/vegetable this year, will they get sufficient yield or not?”
This valuable question can be answered by effectively analyzing available soil and weather data which will help the farmer to make valuable decision. Proposed AGRI APP will be designed to answer such questions and will also provide helpful suggestions to the framers, instantly, even at the remote part of our India.

Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.

Hierarchical Digital Twin of a Naval Power SystemKerry Sado
A hierarchical digital twin of a Naval DC power system has been developed and experimentally verified. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.

I really wish our city had a “Regimen” (a set
of rules about exercises or medical
treatment that people follow in order to stay
healthy to improve mental health) for young
people from the age of 15-30, who are
suffering from mental stress/anxiety.
EMPATHIZE AND DEFINING THE
PROBLEM
3. STEP :-2
Things we wish would exist:-
A group of physiologist who can monitor peoples
mental health on a monthly basis.
A stress free work culture.
STEP :-3
To give value on mental health at the primary stage / lev
We could feed more positive content on social media.
Human relationships could be more better.
Things we wish could be better?
4. STEP:-4
PROBLEM:- We would like to address the challenge on “ Mental
Stress” in between the age group of 15-30, which is drastically
increasing in our country.
Why this is a problem:-
Increasing rate of suicide.
Youths are the backbone of the country, if they
have to deal with such a issue at this stage then
how the nation will progress.
Due to increasing rate of unemployment.
5. UNDERSTANDING THE
CHALLENGE/PROBLEM :-
What are the thoughts/constraints of the design
challenge that your team identifies :-
Our team understood that this is one of major issues
in our country which we are facing but the fact is no
one shifting their focus on the same and even they
are unable to recognize this as an issue.
We understood that this problem mainly occur due to
society, the work culture we have now, and the way
we talk on mental health.
We came to know people want to talk on this issue
but while taking the initiative to do so makes them
uncomfortable.
6. What our team already know about the
challenge :-
Identifying this issue is not an easy task, it requires physiological and
skills to identify this in people.
It produces low productivity in work.
People used to be frustrated all the time.
It mainly occurs due to social media / digital gadgets.
People shy to go for treatment due to society that what the people will
think.
Nowadays it is very common between the young age groups.
What are the key factors /major source of rising mental stress.
How we can stop developing the stress in it’s early stage itself.
What are the some best activities to be done or how to treat with them who
are suffering from this issue.
How to identify that a person is in stress or not?
What our team should like to know more
about?
7. Who are our target users?
Our target users group will be from the age group of 15-
30(mostly young ones).
Define the user & their characteristics :-
Our target users are teenagers and those also who have just
completed their degree and in search of their jobs.
They usually spend their time on electronic gadgets like phone,
laptop
etc.
They like to spend time with their friends having fun and
parties.
Are they core users or extended users?
Yes, they are the core user for our designed product.
8. DOING A RESEARCH :-
List the candidates that you think will provide the most inspiration
and circle 3-5 that you want to engage with first :-
In our problem the best candidates that we think is the one who can provide us
the most inspiring content is college / university’s student from 2nd to 4th year,
who are just going to complete their degree as well as just reached their adult
ages.
So, they will be a good choice for us to interact first.
9. A question guide for Interview (From broad to
specific) :-
Give a brief introduction about yourself.
What are your hobbies?
How do you spend your most of the time?
During the past 4 weeks have you had any problem with
your work or daily life due to your physical health?
During the past 4 weeks have you had any problem with
your work or daily life due to any emotional problem, such
as feeling depressed, sad or anxious ?
Have you felt particularly low or down for more than 2
weeks in a row?
During the past two weeks how often has your mental
health affected your relationships?
10. Have you ever been diagnosed with a
mental disorder before?
When did you last get your mental health
examination done?
How often do you feel positive about your
life?
Are you a alcoholic?
What is you quality of sleep?
How many hours do you sleep?
Overall how much you will rate your mental
health out of the scale of 10?
Continued…
11. INSIGHTS
Before starting the interview the candidates
were shying to talk on mental health issues.
Surprising story :- “After 15 min of talk they
get very comfortable with us & starting
explaining each questions very clearly”.
They understood why mental health issues
are important nowadays and why all should
know about this.
They were mostly caring about society that
what they goanna think over this or how they
will treat this as an issue.
What motivates them:- Our new initiative to
talk with them & have to create a good
environment with good mental health which
motivated them.
13. IDEATION STAGE
APPLI MENTALLY
Some radical ways to meet our user’s need:-
We can create an application/website by which two people
coming from different background can meet with each other with
their suitable time & can share their thought their vision their
concern their problems and a lot more things.
Not only these they can involve also in some of the activities over
there which will help them to get over from the daily stresses
which they used to face.

HELP HIDES HAPPINESS
As per our research & study we
understood that people used to
find more happiness when they
help others no matter in which
way they are doing. So, creating
an organization to help people
and to involving these type of
people who are suffering from
anxiety/stress will be a good
option.
In this manner, they will think
less about their past and future
and will be more concentrated
towards their present, & hence
they may get overcome from this
stress issues.
BY SOCIETY FOR
SOCIETY.
Human relationships is a major
influencing factor on our mental health
so, it should be more better in terms of
a healthy mind.
A group of people used to conduct a
get-together in a month to have fun &
to get more closer to their families so,
we are thinking the same technique to
apply in this specific group of people by
organizing these types of events on a
monthly basis monthly so, that people
can get more closer to each other & can
have some time with their loved ones
which will give them a break from this
breakless life.
15. LAUGH, CRY, & HEAL
Continued…
We are thinking to make a club where people can “Laugh, Cry, & Heal”
(Inspired by Japanese technique). In this club people will come and
will do some exercises on laughing & crying.
As It is found out that these two activities are works as an medicine
and releases hormones in branes by which people will be able to
overcome from the mental stress.

16. FEEDBACKS
I personally found solution 1 is quite a better platform since if the beginning starts
with 2 or 3 people, they will be quite comfortable to share their pain, past
experiences and can also think over the future. After a complete successful session
of Solution 1, then Solution 4 can be implemented where all with same mindset will
join.
It's a good idea according to my opinion. It will help people to know new people, new
mind setups and also if they feel comfortable then they can definitely share their
problems and sometimes can feel relaxed.
I liked how human relations are given importance in today's technical world. You all can
organize breathing and meditation exercises which is very helpful in curing mental
stress. Well, the only difficulty lies is ,in changing the mindset of the Indian people who
are not well aware of their fitness be it physical or mental. So you all need to try hard and
be approachable.
You should work on a site. That doesn't show anyone's identity . On that site
everyone can express their feelings. Hobbies and other things that reflects their
personality. Nd after that people will get choices to their partners or friends.
17. PROTOTYPE OF THE SOLUTION
APPLI MENTALLY
