Name of Activity: BrainPOP Jr.
Grade: Kindergarten
Subject: Life Skills
Materials: Computer Lab or
Classroom Computers
Time Requirement: 30 minutes
Lesson Objectives:
Students will:
• Apply basic computer skills
during interactive activities.
• Follow on-screen directions
through lessons and/or activities.
•Share with their teacher or peers
what they learned in their lessons.
Prior Knowledge:
Most students know how to find
BrainPOP Jr. on the desktop and
navigate through the site.
Activity Directions:
1. Situate students at computer stations,
with mouse ready and headphones on.
2. Have students open BrainPOP Jr. on
their desktop.
3. Instruct students on which lesson we will
be completing today (ex: Health + Be
Safe + Bullying Movie)
4. If students require help navigating to
activity, be available for them.
5. Allow students to freely use interactive
media.
6. Ensure they stay on assigned activity.
Intervene when necessary.
7. After 25 minutes of activity, have
students come to the carpet and have
them share what they learned about
while using BrainPOP Jr.
