hands on approach. The teacher will go through the power point and have the children do the
directed activities. The teacher will go on the children's website and show them how to play a
learning game involving letter recognition. The children will practice their skills on the next
computer set up with this game.

Guided Activity: The power point and web game will be the guided activities.

Independent Activity: The students will work independently on the second computer with the
learning game activity.

Assessment: The assessment will be conducted while observing the sudents on the second
computer as they play the learning game activity using the attached assessment rubric.
