 I have chosen pop music as my genre for this project.
This because pop music is very popular at the moment,
so I will be able to find lots of examples of pop
magazines for inspiration. I also enjoy listening to pop
music. Also, pop music is the genre of music that best
fits my target audience.
 I will be using other students as models for my images.
This is because they are teenagers, so my target
audience will be able to relate to them.
 They will be wearing costumes that are similar to typical
pop stars, e.g. bright pink tops/dresses.
 They will be smiling at the camera to reveal my
magazine’s fun, upbeat nature.
 The ideas that I have for my magazine are that I want it
to be a fun, lively and interesting magazine that my
audience will enjoy.
 I will include information about famous pop stars, new
music, and also fashion information.
 There will be a page where the readers can try quizzes
and puzzles, and where they can win prizes.
 The audience will have the chance to send in stories
about themselves, and read other audience member’s
stories, allowing them to feel like part of a group.
