This document outlines the main task of creating a front cover, contents page, and double page spread for a music magazine in a particular genre. The task requires in-depth research such as analyzing existing magazines, conducting case studies on mise-en-scene used, as well as carrying out questionnaires and a focus group to learn more about the target audience. This research will allow for the successful and professional completion of the pieces.

1. Introduction to Main Task
For this task, I have been asked to create three practical pieces- a front cover, a
contents page and a double page spread for a music magazine from a
particular genre. I have to carry out in-depth research and planning, such as
analysing existing magazines, carrying out case studies and analysing mise-en-
scene used. I will also carry out questionnaires and a focus group in order to
find out more about my target audience. This will allow me to produce
successful and professional pieces of work.
