For my images, I have decided to use a plain white background. This is because it is a
convention for pop magazines to use plain backgrounds. I have also chosen it so the
audience will not be distracted by the background, and can focus on my main artist. The
images will be taken in a classroomwhich is a professional area where I will get good quality
images. Many pop magazines also use plain coloured backgrounds, instead of just plain
white. An example of this is the 4th June We Love Pop issue, where the background is plain
yellow. This keeps the focus on the artist, but allows the magazine to look more interesting
and confirm its brand identity.
