We can minimize the carbon footprint but we can also have a carbon handprint, a positive impact on the climate. Quality characteristics can be added with sustainability, and then measured continuously. Test environments can be used less, and in smaller scale and on demand. Test techniques can be used in optimizing or minimizing number of tests. Test automation can be used to speed up testing.

CAKE: Sharing Slices of Confidential Data on Blockchain
Presented at the CAiSE 2024 Forum, Intelligent Information Systems, June 6th, Limassol, Cyprus.
Synopsis: Cooperative information systems typically involve various entities in a collaborative process within a distributed environment. Blockchain technology offers a mechanism for automating such processes, even when only partial trust exists among participants. The data stored on the blockchain is replicated across all nodes in the network, ensuring accessibility to all participants. While this aspect facilitates traceability, integrity, and persistence, it poses challenges for adopting public blockchains in enterprise settings due to confidentiality issues. In this paper, we present a software tool named Control Access via Key Encryption (CAKE), designed to ensure data confidentiality in scenarios involving public blockchains. After outlining its core components and functionalities, we showcase the application of CAKE in the context of a real-world cyber-security project within the logistics domain.

- 2. India’s first net zero building This means that this is a building with zero net energy consumption where the total amount of energy used in the premises on an annual basis is more or less equal to the amount of renewable energy created on the site.
- 3. Adoption of energy efficient ‘chilled beam’ system of air conditioning has resulted in reduction of energy conservation by 40%. This is an innovative air conditioning system, where air conditioning is done by air flow through diffusers and chilled water is circulated right up to the diffuser points.
- 4. Effective ventilation by orienting the building East-West and by optimum integration with nature by separating out different blocks with connecting corridors and a huge central courtyard.
- 5. Out of total 79 trees existing on the site, only 19 were cut and 11 transplanted.
- 6. More than 50% area outside the building is soft with plantation and grassing. Circulation roads and pathways soft with grass paver blocks are used to enable ground water recharge.
- 7. Chilled beams are used in the building. Room temperature maintained is 26 degree Celsius. Chilled beams with drain pans are used to drain out water droplets due to the condensation during monsoon. 160 TR of air conditioning load of the building is met through chilled beam system.
- 8. Highest efficiency (20%) solar PV panel grid interactive system has been installed in the building. Annual energy generation (14.3 lakh units) is taken care of by solar PV panels
- 9. FALG (Fly Ash Lime Gypsum) bricks and AAC blocks are used in the construction. Instead of clay bricks.
- 10. 55% reduction in overall use of water. This was achieved by using: • Low discharge water fixtures • Low demand plants in landscaping • Recycling waste water for zero discharge • Rain water harvesting
