The study investigates the growth and characterization of barium-doped potassium hydrogen phthalate (KHP) single crystals, which have enhanced nonlinear optical properties. The results indicate that the addition of barium ions does not alter the crystal structure, but improves second harmonic generation efficiency and maintains thermal stability. Various analytical techniques such as XRD, UV-Vis spectroscopy, FTIR, and TG/DTA were employed to confirm the optical transparency, molecular structure, and thermal analysis of the doped crystals.
