If the production of nuclear weaponry is not diminished, it will cause the end of everything. With the
production of nuclear weapons increasing, it will only be a matter of time until a nuclear war breaks
out. When a nuclear weapon is used, it has three killing modes. The first would be the impact, when
the bomb first hits. The second would be the shockwave that extends outward a good deal. Thirdly, the
radiation effect would kill several more after that.
How does a nuclear weapon work you might ask? Well there are two ways a nuclear weapon can
work. One is nuclear fission and the other is nuclear fusion. In nuclear fission, the nucleus of an atom
is split in two by a neutron. To do this, isotopes will need to be present such as uranium (uranium 235,
uranium 233) or plutonium (plutonium 239) (Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament). An isotope is the
same element but with different numbers. Nuclear fusion is kind of how the sun works. According to
Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, two small atoms are fused together to create one large atoms.
This typically requires hydrogen or hydrogen isotopes (deuterium, tritium), to form a larger one

Throughout the school year of 2015 2016 at the Founders Academy, I have wrote numerous essays,
with generally positive results. Several of the essays exceeded expectations, while others reached
expectations to a modest extent, but all of the essays were supported by the writing skills that I had
learned that year, regardless of my strengths or weaknesses with these skills. These techniques vary
extensively, from comparing and contrasting ideas in a text to editing and revising essays for quality
results, which is proven in my writing portfolio.
The first skill of note centers around the proofreading of essays, where an essay receives revisions,
from the reconstruction of paragraphs to the replacement of disinteresting words with intriguing, more
complicated vocabulary. My proof of mastery in this skill is in my essay on Christopher Columbus
and Charles Lindbergh, in addition to my reflection on a project that I had worked on in my
technology class, where I placed complex vocabulary into the essays with my portfolio draft. My
strengths in the skill were that I paid close attention to detail, and added in excessively complex words

Background
For this interview I spoke with my older sister and her husband, Jodie and Shaun Duke. Jodie is thirty
five and Shaun is thirty eight years old. They met while helping with a youth pioneer trek. They have
been married for almost fourteen years and have four children. The model of their marriage is
egalitarian. Both work fulltime and help with raising children and taking care of the home. I chose to
talk with them because I selfishly wanted an excuse to go to lunch with them.
Challenges
Before marriage some of the red flags that Jodie and Shaun said to look for are being too dependent on
a relationship. Each person really needs to be confident in who they are before they enter the
relationship. Another red flag would be domineering personalities. It may appear that they always
want to save you, but in always stepping in, it starts to belittle the other person s confidence in their
own abilities. When asked what some of the challenges were when they first got married, they

This paper will examine the problem of Immigration and Immigration Law. I will first discuss what
Immigration Law is and how it works, then I will define the number one problem of immigration laws,
illegal immigration and why it s so important to follow procedures. It will also address the
