My husband, Austin, and I spent part of our summer in Maui, Hawaii, on our honeymoon in 2013. On
a hike to visit a waterfall, we came across this AWESOME Banyan Tree. I could not help but wonder
how long that branch was, so I did what any normal person without any measuring tools would do; I

About Me
This year is my eighth at WCHS and my ninth year teaching mathematics. I have taught Geometry
and Algebra I all nine years. I love spending time with my friends and family. My husband and I live
in Washington, and we are proud to reside in this strong and resilient community. This year is my third
as the Mathletes coach and my first year as a freshman class adviser. I am looking forward to
upcoming Homecoming activities and Boo Bash, as well as preparing for the Regional ICTM (Illinois
Council of Teachers of Mathematics) Math contest. Mrs. Cox and I are co teaching Algebra Block for

steps often performed in OCR 1. Binarization The simplest way to use image binarization is to choose
a threshold value, and classify all pixels with values above this threshold as white, and all other pixels

Paper towels were invented by a school teacher in 1907. She felt the germs were being spread by the
students who dried their hands on the same cloth towel. At the same time Arthur Scott heard about it
and his company. Scott paper company accidentally made toilet paper too thick. When Arthur Scott
heard about the story, he thought of making more thick toilet paper rolls and introduce them as Sani
towels. And they were to be used in the kitchen to clean up messes.
Currently paper towels are used for lots of different things. Some examples are drying hands, wiping

So the brewing industry stayed in a fast growth stage in 1960 to 1980. After the fast development, the
demand grew less than 1% between 1980 and 1985. With the large advertisement investment (about
10% of sales) and more choices, the beer industry had owned a fix drinking market share. For these,

In my opinion, world wide should have free range hens so there are healthier hens and eggs resulting
in less salmonella spread, if they were free range they would be less stressed and they would not be so
close together which would cause fights. If they were free range they would be healthier, and their
eggs would be healthier for humans to eat because it would not carry salmonella, and the environment
would benefit in many ways. Also the costs of free range living would be distributed onto the

Too many murders with assault rifles and pistols happened in campus. The Americans laying down
under gunfire are not troopers patrolling in Middle East threating by terrorism, but children having
classes and playing with friends in campus. Every police officer and nurse cannot forget the tears left

Racial tensions are high in the United States currently. Donald Trump s campaign has put Immigration
policies on the hot seat. Some of the decisions the Obama administration has made has come under
attack by many media outlets for example, Fox news. Known for its conservative bias, Fox news
