Metro AG, is otherwise known as Metro Group, established in 1964 by Otto Beisheim.
It is a German global diversified retail and wholesale/cash and carry group based in Düsseldorf. It has
the largest market share in its home market, and is one of the most globalised retail and wholesale
corporations.
It is the fifth largest retailer in the world measured by revenues (after Wal Mart, Carrefour, Tesco and

On Friday, February 3rd, 2017, a Jazz artist named Lauren Lark came to perform in the Julia Ball
Auditorium at Gwynedd Mercy University. This event was open to anyone who wanted to join and
was in honor of Black History Month. Going into this event, I was not sure what to expect. I typically
do not go to concerts and in particular, I do not listen to Jazz; however, I do like to learn about new

First, Lord Lay Some Soul Upon My Heart was the blues and had a little bit of a minor tone towards it

average temperatures across the globe have increased. Warming temperatures have shortened winter
and spring by melting snow packs and drying out areas prematurely. They have also staved off the

was, even in the last several decades. As a result, burnable fuels are exposed to extreme temperatures

the Oedipus Complex. A boy around age five begins to develop an intense sexual desire for his

toward his father. The father is viewed as a competitive rival and the goal they both try to attain is the

on how to use observations to evaluate the child s development, by linking theory to practice, and I
aspire to develop my knowledge on the role of the practitioner in the child s development. From this
module, I aspire to develop my understanding of the role of developmental norms, theories of play and
theories of learning, in evaluating the child s holistic development. From this module, I aim to develop
an understanding of working with babies, as I have no previous experience with working with children
this young.
The strengths in which I bring to this module are that I feel that I am confident and a good self
evaluator and I have a great deal of experience working with children, from carrying out work
